Z's, Beer, and Hockey March 6th
 

This has turned into an event instead of just a meet. The Allen Americans team is now going to sponsor a car-show along with Nissan of McKinney. Entrance fee to the car-show will also include a hockey ticket.

Show will be from 5:00 to 7:00 with the game starting at 7:30. It will be located in Dodies Place parking lot right next to the Allen Event Center at the southeast corner of highway 75 and Stacy Rd. Entry will be $27 for show, t-shirt, and a hockey ticket. Additional tickets to the game for spouses/friends are $17.

I am planning on being there between 4-4:30 to help setup and get my car in a prime spot. If you want to meet up early and grab a beer before so we can all setup next to each other then we can plan to be there at 4. If you want my contact info PM me your number and I'll send you a quick text so you have my number as well.

Dodie's is like 50 yards from the Stadium entrance. So park there.

will the parking be cramped is what i'm asking? or will we be able to park together somewhere?

sounds like a great time!! Wish I were closer... I love hockey and I play goalie in 2 mens leagues here in Nashville. I don't think we have ever lost a 4th period!!!! (for those not hockey educated.. the 4th period in hockey is at the bar!)

Meh, never really got into watching sports all that much. And I quit drinking last year. It gets really awkward w/ me anywhere w/ people drinking. Like "wtf are y'all laughing about? Jesus, why are you naked? or Why do I have to pick the naked drunk guy off the toilet? Again?...." Oh wait, that was a work party...

Well there is plenty of parking. I'd say if we went out 100 yards there would be plenty consecutive spaces, and close to Dodie's too.

ok, sorry I have been gone all weekend, been pretty busy. Anyways, think I updated the list, although I should have done 0o7M3ch just to be a pita :)

As far as parking goes, it does get pretty crowded for game nights. We could take a strip of the parking garage to ourselves if we want, or maybe I could talk to the Event center staff I know and see if we can get a VIP section setup for the Z's and pop hoods and everything while we eat at Dodies???

Dreamer, I'll check with the wife and see how she feels about company...I've got 2 guest bedrooms, but she'll be like 7 1/2 months pregnant so may be a little crabby about havin someone we've never met crash here.

yeah work on getting us like 10 spots or something if you are able. hopefully they'd be understanding.

i may be able to talk to the gf Dreamer, we have an extra room. she doesn't like hockey though lol. i'll feel it out, but keep looking in the time being.

well, they always block off the road between dodies and the arena, sometimes there are promotional vans and stuff parked there, so maybe they'll let us go in and park like a small car-show.
