Hey, twinz, I visited my son at Laredo in Sept., and took a sweet drive to San Anton', spending a whole day sightseeing. The memories were nostalgic and nice at the same time; I was stationed both at Lackland and Randolph A.F. Bases for a total of 8 months back in the late 70s! Still a charming city! I especially enjoyed the river walk with its fine restaurants! Beautiful day with my wife, son and his wife at good old San Anton'!

My wife and I are seriously considering retiring to San Anton'. Any comments, guys?? We'd be just a couple or three hours away from our son (he's at Laredo). Any advice would be appreciated!

Love SA. Affordable living, plenty of things to do in and around the city, strong economy, great food, only 2hrs from the coast, etc...

Any San Antonio 370's want to go out to the meet? Me and the gf will be heading there this Saturday. Last time Bram370, 210, and myself went and there were some nice cars out. There were 2 other 370s (1 PG which you can see in the above pic and 1 CY) also. If we go, we can all meet up around 8:15-8:30 somewhere near the meet. Who's game? :D |
A lot of us were at ZCON last month so we will be there this Saturday.

We are being asked to park in a new area by the Vineyards Manager:
"I am the manager of The Vineyard Shopping Center. We are glad to have you and the other car enthusiasts meet here once a month. I have been out several times and have really enjoyed seeing all of the different cars. I do have a request though. Your success over the past few months has been great, but it is beginning to impact some of my tenants. I would like to request that you set up in the parking lot behind Applebee's and Carino's. Although this is a little farther away from Panera Bread, it is a much larger lot. This will allow parking for the visitors to the other retail locations." For all those who attend this monthly event please follow his request. Thanks, Luis C. |

November 27th is our next event and we will be having our Toys for Tots toy drive so please come out and support this great cause, bring a new unwrapped toy or a money donation.

Hi everyone, I am moving to SA from Hawaii, used to live in SA about 6 years ago, my family and friends all still live there, they told me a lot has changed, hopefully they finished the construction on 410. Anyway love cars and love my PW Base Z, would def like to meet up sometime, me and the wife are moving to SA to retire kinda, I am getting medically retired from the Army after 14 years, they won't let me stay in with my injuries. Well hope to meet up sometime, should be out there by March take care & aloha

Don't forget this Saturday, also if you are trying to park as a group don't get there later than 9 otherwise you'll be spread out or off the main parking area.
