Oh I know, but still. It's a step in the right direction though.

And for official news: Ferguson is retiring. Hopefully this will send Utd into a downward spiral. Unlikely, but I like to dream big.

We had Birmingham.

Now City have Wigan.

Wigan are THE FA Cup champions. :vuvuzela:
:ughdance: :ugh2:

Now we have to face a Wigan team with more silverware than us in the past seven years. :shakes head:

Things were looking good at 1-0. Then dire at 1-1 at HT. Wigan were strong at the beginning of the second half... then we shifted gears.

4-1 with 15' to go.

Ramsey scored - someone famous will be dead soon. :eekdance:

We didn't shift gears. Wigan ran out of steam. I've never seen a defender as lazy as Scharner coming up from the clearance. Poldi could've camped next to Joel (the Wigan GK) and still been onside, by the looks of it. Ramsey's goal was ridiculous too, the GK gave the near post away. I don't care how shifty-eyed Aaron looked (I myself was screaming for him to cut back to Podolski for his hat trick), you DON'T give that much space to any EPL midfielder / forward!

Santi pulled the strings time and again. His should be getting three assists - corner, lashed ground cross, and a headed assist. He could get the fourth if you stretch the definition of "assist" - I think he gave the pass to Ramsey, who ambled into the net without a care in the world, and nobody else touched the ball - but I think a hat trick of assists will suffice quite nicely, thank you.

Worried Artekkers went straight to the dressing room. As the vice captain he would be one of the players you'd expect to stay out there, especially as it's the last home game of the season. I think he picked something up and may miss Newcastle.

Ramsey scored to account for the death of Angelia Jolie's breasts

Okay, well, maybe Wigan did get a bit tired, but Theo was going to run circles around their back four regardless.

Yes, the GK was bad. The way he came out for Theo's goal feet first just kind of stabbing at it was terrible, but then again - that's why they're relegated.

 Indeed it its!

Though, it wasn't easy. Thought for sure Newcastle would end up putting one past us there. :eekdance:

Kos/Per seem to be doing well as of late.

And Walcott missing an open goal to seal it for sure.

Have you ever seen Tottenham win the league?

Audacious little dribble to break free though. Walcott may surprise us yet. He's what, 24? One more season to prove he's developed into Henry v 2.0.
