i played beach soccer on saturday, holy hell that was tiring. 5 a side, i was basically the only defender out there who knew wtf was going on...against a winger who skinned me alive almost every time he came up against me. i think i missed 4 tackles, got him once?

beach soccer is TIRING. but fun. really want to be back on the regular pitch now, 11 a side, as a centreback so i don't burn myself out so quickly!

Yeah, running in the sand aint fun, def tiring. I was suprised, they put me in as left striker and I ran my azz off the whole game without burning out.

yeah my stamina isn't what it used to be. i think at most i'd be good as a CDM, but i probably belong at the CB position b/c i'm taller than most people i play with, i head the ball, and i'm slow as f*ck :rofl2:

worst part of my night after that though, was both my legs cramped up at the same time...god that hurt.

I haven't played soccer since trying out Freshman year of High School, and that's quite a while lol.

But my buddy Robert has a small beach ball in our office. When everybody leaves, I practice my juggling :rofl2:

I don't think I've ever played an actual game of soccer ever. Just did a couple soccer stuff in gym back in elementary/middle/high school.

I love it here in Germany, its so completely ingrained in their culture, they have 3 year olds that could school someone on a U10 team in the states:icon17:

I've played for a few teams, SV Mackenbach is my club team and we actually start summer training next week, i'm pumped. Looks like my new match boot is going to be the Nike CTR360 Maestri in the white/blue. Anywho, here are a few fun pics of my Sunday leagues championship win.
