referee just fvcked us. 3 minutes of stoppage time with the injuries, substitution and all the walking about? GTFO man.

Red370 03-06-2012 03:38 PM

6 minutes minimum.

phelan 03-06-2012 03:41 PM

the boys finally, just FINALLY, played for the shirt, and everything the cannon stands for. proud of the team, just wish they WOKE THE F*CK UP in milan.

we're in piss-poor shape for the league if walcott and the ox are really badly injured though.

Good effort from Arsenal, just seemed to run out of steam to rescue it late. Hopefully we can take some inspiration from Arsenal and play with some belief. Not sure if anyone really cared for the Benfica/Zenit result, but Benfica are through 4-3 on agg.

+1, Arsenal came out strong!....Milan looked terrible tonight, some of the most stressful 90 minutes i have endured as of recent with Milan.

Forza Milan!

What a SHAME tonight!! Milan was like taking a vacation in the first half while gunners played their heart out. Not enough lessons from Turkey 2005 and Spain 2004??!! We should've been crushed out of the round of 16. Hats off to Arsenal. You guys earned my respect!

Red370 03-07-2012 02:19 AM

well with that out of the way, we can at least focus on overtaking spuds and finishing in the top 3.

Should be a fun game to watch vs. Newcastle.

Van Persie's looking dangerous as always.

Milan came into the game ready to ride the 4-0 agg advantage. They didn't expect Arsenal to press they way the did, and they certainly didn't believe Arsenal could put 4 past them and keep a clean sheet. That strategy nearly sent them crashing out. And Milan DESPERATELY need a left back. It's been the weak link in the team all season. They need someone to fill the 'Maldini role'. Abysmal defending from the Italians last night, but credit to the Arsenal boys for punishing them for defensive errors.

The way they're playing now, I think that conclusion is entirely possible. I wonder if we can pull something together under Robbie Di Mateo to finish in the top 4 ahead of Spurs.

APOEL are through!

Red370 03-08-2012 04:03 AM

Big news in Germany today is that Koln have agreed terms with us, something like 11 million pounds for Poldi, i for one, welcome the switch. He'll be a Chamakh that can actually score, great at holding the ball up and can pop one from distance, should compliment RvP nicely.

bigsix 03-08-2012 05:03 AM

When will he come to London?

Red370 03-08-2012 07:10 AM

summer, hopefully he'll bring Gotze along with him.

bigsix 03-08-2012 08:52 AM

Who do you see definitely leaving after this season?

phelan 03-08-2012 11:43 AM

Benayoun won't stick around long term, unfortunately. Arshavin will probably leave.
Almunia is hopefully gone, taking with him Bendtner, Vela, Denilson, Park, Squillaci (we almost sold him already).

Either Flappyhandski or ManOHNOne may leave depending on how the GK situation turns out. Sir Chesney is the obvious number 1, but after that, who is it? For chrissakes, we saw Damian Martinez on the bench a few times lol
