sokkerfanatikNo offense, but Manchester United never let him "slip through their hands". They never had a shot at him, thus the reason they never made a go at him. He was flattered to be linked, but he never had any intention of leaving Germany. It's a very difficult reality to grasp onto, but not every player in the world wants to play for Manchester United or any team in the EPL for that matter.
