the laurels look ridiculous too. for a 125th commemorative, can we break out the old arsenal logo?

cow 04-14-2011 11:00 AM

Agreed. I'd like to see just the cannon back.

Im with you cow I hope they destroy Man U

Not having a Bundesliga team is sweet. I get to watch every match & root for a team based on their uniforms.

Dortmund is my favorite, I think; I love the highlighter yellow.

phelan 04-14-2011 01:31 PM

and they have kagawa

and they fking KILLED IT most of the season.

They haven't disappointed in many of the games I've watched.

What happened to German teams being so boring? Like I remember Bayern Munich winning the CL years ago (or even Leverkeusen when they reached the final) being hard to watch. This new young generation of German kids is amazing to watch. Every game seems like it's played at 10000 miles per hour.

Jon@AAMComp 04-14-2011 03:29 PM

The German game used to be very rigid and robotic, but as you've said, it's been a complete reversal in the past 10 years or so. Like everyone else, I don't have 1 specific Bundesliga side I support, but I am partial to Bremen, given the fact that my cousin is German and he supports Weder Bremen. Anytime we talk about the Bundesliga it turns into a conversation about Bremen. I also like St.Pauli, because I love Hamburg, and the local support for such a [relatively] small club is really strong.

I like watching Dortmund's fluidity and speed when they play. You can see the enthusiasm of the players is reflected from their manager Jürgen Klopp, who I thought was a lock for the Bayern job when Van Gaal was sacked. Hopefully the lure of money for the club doesn't tear this young squad apart during the summer.

all i have to say is f*ck bayern.

That kit article is so snarky. Methinks the author has daddy issues.

phelan 04-14-2011 11:58 PM

Fab will either go home or stay at Arsenal. Hell no Inter will get him.
