fucking terrible, just fucking terrible. Season is over.

On Arsenal, it was hard to watch, but I'm not giving up hope.
Milan derby off to a cracking start, but then got kind of boring for the remainder of the first half. I fell asleep after fifteen minutes only to be awakened by the commentator guy yelling. On a side note, it's bizarre how many former Juve players are on Milan (Calcioploi & Juve's subsequent relegation had a lot to do with that). Anyway, I hope Milan wins 1) because I'll never support a team with Marco Materazzi on its payroll & 2) Inter's away strip is awful (even though they're wearing the home kit, that Ed Hardy serpent crap has been burned into my retinas). I think I'm going to watch Barcelona vs Villareal instead. |

Champions League Quarter Finals start Today!
Bale and Ronaldo both back in the lineups for Spurs and Real Madrid, respectively: UEFA Champions League 2011 - Real Madrid-Tottenham ? UEFA.com |
I can't decide who to root for in the Real vs Spurs match.
I'm incapable of watching without rooting for one team. |
^ the fact you're considering spurs shows how far arsenal has fallen this season :p
(which, really, isn't that far at all, but all the boo birds are out in force.) |
Nah, not really. Spurs are fun to watch since 'Arry took over-- they usually either win triumphantly or bomb spectacularly (except recently).
I don't "root" for them, but I watch expecting a good match & I take as much joy from seeing them lose as just seeing a good match. |

and bale is linked with every major club in europe. that's not an understatement, but a testament to his abilities. he and Rambo are the steel in the wales team. |
Carlotti and Fergie won't be all smiles come tomorrow. Fernando Torres, you wanted European football, well, here you have it! Now is a good time as ever to finally find the back of the net.
Sergio Ramos will have his hands full tonight with Bale down that left flank, but I think Madrid's attack will be more successful against Tottenham's shaky back line than the other way round. Starting Lineups from UEFA: (Order of player jersey number) RM: Casillas Carvalho Pepe Ramos Ronaldo Marcello Alonso Di Maria Özil Khedira Adebayor TOTT: Gomes Bale Gallas Lennon Van der Vaart Modric Crouch Dawson Corluka Sandro Assou-Ekotto Adebayor gets the nod over Karim Benzema?? |
Benzema was injured, wasn't he? Probably will be spark plug off the bench.
I hope Bale is 100% fit! They need him already, down 1-0 to Los Blancos, and Crouch gone already. Reason - idiocy. |
Madrid certainly wins the "names end in a vowel" part of the tie.
|
BTW - Ade's goal makes Mourinho look like a bloody genius for starting him over the injured-but-recovered-enough-to-play-if-he-needs-to Benzema. Who...I guess isn't even on the bench? Well then, guess he didn't recover enough :p
Ol' Ade still haunts the Spurs something ridiculous haha. |
