Arsenal crock Robin van Persie is no stranger to injury and his jinx is now rubbing off on those unlucky enough to be near him. After showing a group of children around the newly-named Robin Van Persie Stand at SBV Excelsior not everyone in the party escaped unscathed.

Whut the fack?

Probably offered him another 100,000 pds a week w/ the addition of a quick BJ from SAF and the promise he would never be benched again. That kid is motivated by greed, could see it in his earlier years when he shat on Everton, the team he promised he would finish his career at (granted he was 16 when he made the comment) but whatever, i've never been a big fan of his, hes awful at the international level. I will say this, ManUre better start shelling out some cash in these transfer windows, the teams in a rapid decline in midfield and an aging defense isnt going to help matters either.

Glazernomics = fail though. Rooney's going to have a tough first game back in three weeks too, since half of United is now thinking "wow you greedy son of a bitch" and the other half is still singing his name. Going to be weiiiiird. Hope it was worth it.

Thoughts on ManShity v. Arsenal this weekend? I'm thinking a draw. And on the RvP injury note, TGH got it bang on, he's basically a bonus when he can play, but we've made strides in playing without. Which is sad, since he's the most loyal Gunner on the squad, and absolute magic when he is on the pitch.

In other unrelated news, my fantasy soccer team is now an embarassment of riches for a starting eleven.

Is anyone else here in agreement that its about time we offload the Russian? I've been watching him all season long and I must say, his form from his first season to now, has really gone to shyt. I'm thinking we offload him for 15-20 mil to Man City and buy a better winger... Ashley Young comes to mind.

Red370 10-22-2010 01:57 PM

and when are you sad saps ready to get your ass handed to you in fifa? SchmittyA7X add me TODAY.

ESPN Soccernet - Correspondents - Stoke City - One Rule For Arsenal...

I love that Stoke, et al spend all their time talking about Arsenal thus deflecting attention from the fact that their team is shite.

cow 10-22-2010 02:48 PM

Reading the comments, the author is a moron. I wonder if I could get a job there.

Arsene Wenger looking to extend Andrey Arshavin's stay at Arsenal - Goal.com

I have to ask, where is Arsene Wenger looking? Arshavin has his moments of brilliance, but he looks very disinterested this season. I want Rosicky starting, dammit!

The only player I would absolutely beg AW to buy is Keisuke Honda.

Red, cow, what platform is that, X360?

Arsene Wenger has brought this on himself, were it not for his hypocritical and often unprovoked attacks on certain teams, including Stoke, criticising ‘rugby’ like tactics, then he would be wearing a lot less of the egg that currently adorns his face just above the remnants of humble pie sticking out of his mouth.
...what? AW and Jack have already come out and said "Yes that was a bad tackle, I'm sorry"...this is ridiculous. Shawcross / Stoke will go "THAT WAS A PERFECTLY GOOD TACKLE SORRY THE LEG WAS BROKE".

1 – Nasri kicking and kneeing a player on the ground which deserved a red card
I said it before. If anybody watched the replays, Ridgewell tried to knock Nasri's ankle off.

cow 10-22-2010 03:05 PM

I'm playing on 360.

On Nasri, he definitely reacted to a rash kick-- both players deserved a yellow.

Regarding Arshavin, I'd like to see him on the bench for a few matches in the Ole Gunnar Solskjær role. I think that might help light a fire under Rooski's ass. Also, I really like Rosicky-- I want to see him on the pitch as much as possible. I think we've looked quite lively when he's out there.

Cool. It'll be a few days before I'm on to accept, but we'll play soon. I'm sure I'll get my ass kicked.

ahh, just as I predicted, Rooney's re-signing completed for money.
