Yes, I have caught a few races, but I guess I didn't realize it was so uncompetitive. Thanks for setting me straight.

I like the cars and the courses, so I will continue to watch, but I am just stating my opinion.

I've only watched last season in full and a few races before that, so this season has me really excited about all the competition throughout the field.

the battles in mid-field has been very exciting since last season.

for last season, if exclude vettel, the battle from 2nd to 12th is very close and exciting.

this year, it's been not bad so far, just the difference is you see a hamilton racing himself some 20secs ahead of the field.

even last race the battle between 1st and 2nd was heart pumping.

can't say this is season is boring, but true, they really sound like a vacuum machine.

I like the sounds of the cars. The turbo etc. I enjoy hearing more of what the car is doing, tire sounds etc and the sound of the crowd. I feel you get a more complete picture of what is goin on around you at the track.

You are in the minority..............................Old timer here and I hate the sound with a passion. The exotic sounds of the engines were what got me hooked on F1 as a kid. Now 50.......................

I'm 51 and have attended more races than I can count. Loud is great. Sound is even better. I like the new sound and enjoy other sounds that are associated with racing. I don't care about minority or majority.

I'm an F1 fan so by default in the majority. I will watch every race and be at 2, if not more in person. Finally we see the drivers dealing with the car again given the new motors and more torque, and loss of downforce. Sound is the least of my concerns. F1 has never been perfect.

Sound is only one of the many elements in F1.

As formula 1 always represent the class that contains the newsest and most advanced technology, and it does.

Since the turbo era almost 40 years ago then back to N/A engine with small displacement but pumps out 800+hp then KERS then DRS then back to a compact turbo with KERS.

instead of keep the bigger displacement engine, it is now demanding the engine supplier to come up with something with power but more efficiency with more "gadgets".

it always take time to adapt to new changes and nothing is perfect, however, if you look at current F1 in the whole package, it is actually the most complicated package on technology, race strategy and driving.

to be honest, it took me a while to get used to the new F1 sound, it's really like a vacuum machine, but sound is not the only thing I care in F1.

I care about how the driver could make a pass, how they have to look after the tire wear while still have to fight hard and drive hard against the others, how would the team react to the situation with altering the strategy.

Besides driving crazily fast, the drivers has a lot more things to look after thus they also have to drive smart.

This is why I love F1.
