DLSTR 05-24-2014 05:20 AM

Qualy soon! Dry and sunny in the land of tax dodgers and super star celebs :) Link above will get you all the coverage on SKY F1.

alcheng 05-24-2014 08:11 AM

I am surprised mclaren was so slow in q2, they looked pretty good in q1.

BlackZeda 05-24-2014 10:06 PM

Lewis Hamilton...what a douchebag.

DLSTR 05-25-2014 05:47 AM

Race day! What will happen now. So many team-mates are paired up on the grid P1-6. Start will be interesting with the potential for team mates to hit each other. Will LH get the jump!!!???

alcheng 05-25-2014 12:37 PM

btw, i think i can put hamilton to my dislike-list (i never has such a list before).

Pintsize725 05-25-2014 01:37 PM

Leave it to NBC to **** up the race recording and show the end before restarting at 930. Then they cut off the podium and after race review from NBCSN. Asshats

shadoquad 05-25-2014 02:35 PM

Got interesting

( Click to show/hide )

When Hamilton got something in his eye, Ricciardo nearly caught him. Added some much needed drama

I love Monaco, though. Attending that race is on the shadoBucketList

I think that "something" is actually Rosberg, not a dust...:bowrofl::bowrofl:

Pintsize725 05-25-2014 02:54 PM

I think Monaco is on all of our bucket lists.

:iagree:

it is one of the most exciting race but without overtaking... :roflpuke2:

Haboob 05-25-2014 04:34 PM

So boring watching the same people or team win every race.

Seriously? It's not like it's Vettel dominating the last 4ish years.

And now it's Mercedes. It'd be nice if other teams could compete besides two. Hell, even Ferrari and McLaren can't compete anymore.

Yeah, that's a common complaint with F1 while Bernie is still alive. I think F1 in 5-10 years would be unrecognizable today.

IMO, Rosberg is a punk who cheated Hamilton from pole yesterday. I think it was calculated and deliberate. I also think Hamilton is going to hand Nico his *** back in a couple of weeks in Montreal. Monaco is just an exhibition race for the pleasure of billionaires, not a real track.

At least we're seeing some new names in the top 10. I love it that Marussia, Force India, and Williams are actually getting on the board this season.

Ricciardo will be the man of the season regardless. His personality is great and he's done so well thus far.

alcheng 05-25-2014 07:09 PM

at least we are seeing two drivers fighting at the front instead of vettel lappng himself alone. :icon17:

Haboob 05-25-2014 10:55 PM

Rosberg ran away with the race today. Hamilton and Ricciardo were only close, because Hamilton had vision issues.

It's sad that I only want to hear about the lower teams, because they actually battle.

Conclusions from the 2014 Monaco GP | Features & Experts | Sky Sports Formula 1

Great summary of the race and the issue of Monaco as a race as well!

DLSTR 06-04-2014 03:05 PM

Should be an interesting race in Montreal. Great track, hard on brakes and motors. Here is a decent preview from Planet F1.com

since mercedes is already on their own league, it is more interesting to see how's the progress on mclaren, ferrari and how much headache can red bull gives to the silver arrows :icon17:

Yes that is the fun of this year. The battle between the Mercedes drivers, but really the best is what is going on behind them. Canada will be interesting to see the LH dynamic vs what happend to them in Monaco.

Pintsize725 06-05-2014 11:49 AM

These are cracking me up and making me jealous. :icon17:

Practice 2 live! Watch SkySports F1 : SkyF1 Live Stream Online

Qualifying is on now. SKY pre qualy show is on at the link above. Should be a good one. Practice 3 was good. LH strong and so is Williams behind them as the best of the rest so far. Red Bull are hurting with lower straight line speeds with the long straights in Montreal.

alcheng 06-07-2014 04:12 PM

Q time of Rosberg and Hamilton is more than 0.5s faster than the field... :icon14:

No shock there. At least Nico got this pole without any controversey.

true... from the layout of Montreal, it will be exciting to see what going to happen at the 1st and 2nd corner..!!

DLSTR 06-08-2014 12:54 PM

Race Day!!! Will Nico win from pole? Can LH pass him. The start is in 5 minutes!

Pintsize725 06-08-2014 01:30 PM

Why the heck is my DVR recording at 6pm?! I really wish NBCSN would let us know if it was going to be screened on a different channel at a different time. Fvkers.

saw the on-board on Vettel's car, it looks like he saw Massa was flying from the left cos he did slow down and turn the steering wheel to the right a bit.

what a reaction..!

LostSol 06-08-2014 03:16 PM

Finally Red Bull Racing on top of the podium where they belong!! Congrats Riccardo on your first of hopefully many wins!

DLSTR 06-08-2014 03:34 PM

Sergio moved over under braking into Massa. End of story he was out of rear brakes completely. Massa probably had no idea before making the move.

Sergio, he always thought everyone has to move away to make room for him. :ugh2:

BlackZeda 06-08-2014 10:01 PM

That was an awesome race, with a technical twist and a very likable, popular driver winning. Forget about the Pocono 400 and Dale Jr. for a moment, the F1 race didn't completely suck *** for the first time all season. The star of the race was Mercedes AMG rear brakes. Good job brakes for failing! :stirthepot:

If Danica Patrick raced for the Haas F1 race team, she might bring some masculinity to the sport. :stirthepot: :stirthepot: :stirthepot:

All trolling aside, I do like Daniel Ricciardo a lot and hope he wins a few more this season.
