Totally great race. Predictions from alot of fans and forums was for another boring Vettel run-away. Hardly. I hope they keep Korea on the calendar. Great track with lots of room for battling and passing. Exactly what F1 needs!!

The domination from Red Bull and Vettel really make the race boring... at the front...

when seeing Vettel blasting away from the field before half of the 1st lap, it was clearly he will win the race unless his car has mechanic failure...

almost a 2sec lead after the first lap... it's not fun to watch and not fun to race against him....

the good is so far in for this season, the actions from 2nd to 12th is always exciting.

The battle between Hulkenberg, Hamilton and Alonso + Roseberg...

Then Massa, Perez, Gutiérrez and Maldonado... the move from Massa on lap 50(?) was bravo... jump from 12th to 9th...

That move shows his experience and smartness very very much... :tup::tup:

Look forward to Suzuka :tup::tup:

Just my 2 cents but if Pirelli would make a good tire that doesn't go off in just a handful of laps it would make the racing much better. Right now it's more about tire management than actual driving talent/car design. If Pirelli just made a tire that allowed them to race hard even for 20-30 laps it would make a huge difference. I say blame Pirelli not the teams/drivers for the poor racing.

Nice BBC link to setting up for Suzuka -- BBC Sport - Japanese Grand Prix: How to approach the Suzuka track

Love this track!

The FIA and Bernie asked Pirelli to make tires that degrade quickly. The teams pushed for changes after the Brit GP this year. The tires now are almost what we had last year. Alonso asked Paul Hembrey why they chose the super soft at Korea.

He told Alonso his boss(Alonso's) asked for them!!! Hoping to slow Red Bull down. OOPS! Red Bull are winning on the same tires. Doing a better job. Wanna beat Red Bull - Do a better job with your car. Im liking this year even with the Bulls being so successful. They have earned it!

:iagree:

I personally believe the characteristic of the current tyre adds much more element into racing, drivers have to have different driving style to conserve the tyre according to the strategy, designer has to fine tune the chassis even more in order to max out between the performance and lifespan of the tyre too.

I found the races are more exciting, and especially to the midfield.

Regarding Red Bull vs others, they are using the same tyres, they do have a better car... can't complain about it...
