Not at all. I actually forgot they existed and thus didn't have an opinion about them.

Ni55anPat 02-27-2013 01:41 PM

Well, i guess you could say the Chiefs can only go up from last year.

It would be harder for them to do worse than to do better :icon17:

Now that would be a real surprise.

This is just disgusting. Using fame to collect money for charity and then not donating it :shakes head:

Alex Rodriguez

Anquan Boldin was listed as one of the athletes involved, donating only 17% of collected funds.

tower74 02-28-2013 01:38 PM

:rolleyes:Damn, a ton of haters for the Chiefs. I have faith that with a first round pick of an OL they will have the ability to protect him. Plus the 49ers were a throw first run later team. I think this will be a good fit for Alex. Now, as for Matt Castle:gtfo2:

Seems like a lot of mismanagement.

How hilarious is it that the Jets are working out a QB who hasn't even played football in ~2 years

31 Reasons why NFL teams hate the Patriots - NFL.com

shadoquad 02-28-2013 11:57 PM

lol that list is sketch. And do the Ravens hate the Pats. I dunno, but "have fun at the pro bowl" made me giggle

b1adesofcha0s 03-01-2013 08:19 AM

Yeah I have to admit that was pretty funny. I definitely think the Ravens and Patriots are big time rivals now. Their recent match ups have been much better than Ravens vs Steelers recent match ups IMO. Part of that might be because of 2 consecutive AFC championship matches :p

dmhenderson 03-01-2013 08:29 AM

I don't hate the Pats themselves, I dislike their fanbase (present company excluded). Biggest group of crybaby fans I have ever run across.

Not sure if I told this story here but I actually won't watch football with my Pats fan friend anymore because he freaks the **** out/screams/punches holes in walls when they lose.

I remember that story :icon17:

Falcons released Michael Turner, John Abraham, Dunta Robinson.

I have to disagree. The Steelers are the Ravens' rivals.

23–20
13–10
23–20
31–24
13–10
17–14
23–20
20–17 (OT)
13–9
23–20 (OT)
27–21

What is that? The score of the last 11 of 13 Ravens-Steelers games, playoffs included, all decided by less than a touchdown.

daisuke149 03-01-2013 05:19 PM

yeah..

im loling at the idea that the patriots vs ravens is a better rivalry..

btw Al i owe you something.. ill text it to ya!

I think a lot of people WANT it to become a rivalry, and have talked it up so much that even tho on paper it doesn't seem rational, in a fans mind its become a rivalry. there's a saying " if you say something long enough, you begin to believe it" to me its just all in good fun.

let it be a "rivalry" if people want it to be, its still pleads the 5th compared to Ravens-Steelers. coming in ( in my mind) a strong 2nd place.

Reports: Ravens, Joe Flacco Reach Agreement In Principle

dmhenderson 03-01-2013 06:47 PM

I think they technically can't discuss details until after free agency starts

Nismo89 03-01-2013 06:55 PM

me personally, I think its a 6-10 year deal, 40-50 million gaurenteed, and a annual salary of anywhere from 18-21 million per year

"According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Flacco's deal is worth in excess of $120 million over six seasons, will make him the highest-paid quarterback in NFL history. Flacco earned $6.76 million in base salary in 2012, the final season of a rookie contract that paid out $23,805,590 over the last five seasons."

Super Elite!

dmhenderson 03-01-2013 07:33 PM

He's a solid QB but no chance in hell he's worth that lol.

b1adesofcha0s 03-01-2013 07:37 PM

If the Ravens didn't pay him that, I guarantee some other team would have at least gotten close.

He would have gotten more than Peyton Manning did.
