As much as I hate the Giants being a Cowboys fan, I can relate! At least you have had success in the last two decades.

b1adesofcha0s 12-15-2013 08:15 PM

Should have stuck with Flynn, but I just barely squeezed out the win today. Now I've got Cousins vs the Cowboys' D in the championship next week. I like it.

Truth bro...but I was at the game today and 5 ints by Eli is unacceptable for his pay. They held in til half time and self destructed. PATHETIC. We shouldn't have to pay these insane ticket prices when we get a performance like that.

Xplicit97 12-15-2013 08:31 PM

Eli was playing for my Hawks today... We completely embarassed the Giants.. you guys couldn't even do anything with the interception we gave you... lol

The top 3 seeds in the AFC all lost this week. I think the beatdown of the Bengals was the most unexpected of the 3.

axmea? 12-16-2013 01:14 AM

You wanna know why the Cowboys lost?

This!!!!! Too much bah beeh Q!

Not AFC but the weirdest beatdown by far was the Peterson-less Vikings hanging 40+ points on the Eagles.

Agreed. No one saw that coming.

dmhenderson 12-16-2013 05:28 PM

And that was with DeSean Jackson going for 195 and a TD o_O

As a Redskins fan, Cleveland fans are the only other fanbase in the NFL that I genuinely pity other than Redskins fans.

Really, over Raiders fans? That is where you go for your career to die!

The Raiders have had some success over the past 2 decades. Hell, they even made it to a superbowl.

They don't come here to die, they just leave and become Pro-Bowlers.

Really? The Browns seem to specialize in draft busts:
Kellen Winslow Jr to some extent although a lot of his issues were off the field and staph infection-related (haha what)

Brady Quinn

Tim Couch (lol)

Courtney Brown (double lol)

The list goes on and on. Biggest draft busts ever...

1. Ryan Leaf
2. JaMarcus Russell
3. Vince Young (Maybe Lower, towards the top ten)

Thanks, Tony

What does this have to do with the Browns? Leaf was drafted by the Chargers, Russell was a Raider and Young was drafted by the titans.

just got back from the game. probably the best single sporting event ive ever been to. the crowd noise level and atmosphere was really crazy for Carolina. some tense moments but we pulled it off! in the 3rd quarter heavy heavy rain hit and we were right under the 2nd deck overhang and it was like a waterfall but made the experience even more memorable and fun

after the game the streets of charlotte were like they won the super bowl with people running around everywhere. everyone was chanting "who dat" and some girl walking out with her BF turns to me and says in a waking up with kimye voice.... why is everyone yelling that....I thought they lost. ( sarcasm was lost upon her it seems lol)

Went to the Patriots vs Ravens game earlier today and had an awesome time. It was my first live NFL game and I'm so glad it was a win. I could feel the heat of the flames in the Ravens' entrance from where I was sitting. Also was lucky enough that all of the Patriots' offensive TD's were in the end zone I was sitting near.

Nice! Sweet two members where able to attend some live games this weekend!

They were both awesome games so I can imagine it was great in person! :tiphat:

Haboob 12-23-2013 07:45 AM

Unfortunately I have the Cardinals as the hometown team, so I don't get to see the Cowboys.

If I want to buy tickets for the Cowboys when they come here, I have to buy two preseason game tickets first, then the game tickets. Some stupid "protect the nest" ******** that they only apply to Dallas and Pittsburgh (because we will fill their stadium with more of our fans :icon17: ).

I'm not going to pay $800 to go to a Cowboys game, especially when they're as **** as they are. :rofl2:

Barely squeaked out a win yesterday.

I'm assuming Cousins started? I didn't watch the game, I was out golfing and getting sick. :ugh2:

Cousins > RG3 no doubt.

Everyone > Cowboys D.

I just checked the score, wtf Chicago? How do you not beat the Eagles? Uggghhh... their D is just as shitty as Dallas' though. :icon17:

I'm not optimistic about next week after the Eagles put that much up on Chicago.

If the panthers dont blow it and win in ATL this weekend we get a home game in the playoffs and im gonna try to get tix for that too even if its up in the top of the damn stadium

dmhenderson 12-23-2013 03:46 PM

Adios Romo. Maybe the cowboys will actually win in the playoffs without him.

MC 12-23-2013 04:01 PM

I think the other scenario of them not making it and him not playing sort of insolates him ( or it being spun that way) from the week 17 curse is more likely..

You'd have to believe that the Cowboys aren't really interested in making a run at the playoffs for that to be true and I'm not buying that for a second.

MC 12-23-2013 05:54 PM

no you misunderstood im not saying its some conspiracy im the saying the more likely scenario is cowboys wont win with orton against a eagles team who puts up that many points and the eventual media reaction will be spun that at least it wasnt his fault this year

Yeah it might be a blessing in disguise. I thought you meant it was intentional or that he was faking injury.

dennis26 12-23-2013 09:23 PM

It also helps Garret who is on the hot seat.

Haboob 12-24-2013 07:20 AM

If we were to beat the Eagles and make it, we'd not make it passed the first round. Our defense is utter garbage.

The losses this month have not been Romo's fault, as much as I want them to be.

LMBmikeZ 12-24-2013 12:12 PM

Week 17 is shaping up to be a good one though! Some years the picture is already clear for what will happen and who's in and who's out, but there is some key wins some teams need this week to make it. Seems a little tighter then some of the past couple years

b1adesofcha0s 12-24-2013 12:42 PM

Most of the games will be deciding seeding rather than who is in or not. How funny would it be if Orton outplayed Romo and beat the Eagles :icon17:

shadoquad 12-24-2013 12:46 PM

The Ravens could win and not make the playoffs, or lose and make it in, all depending on the other afc teams in contention.
