This game is so great. I love the Fumbliots and Brady failing.

BS no call on an offensive PI on Amendola (again) that gave a huge gain to Gronk.

Haboob 11-24-2013 09:31 PM

Then Ball goes and fumbles. This is why Knowshon should be in on every down. **** Ball.

Haboob 11-24-2013 10:07 PM

Yeah, now it's not. Hahaha. I hate both teams though, so meh.

Jasonle 11-24-2013 10:09 PM

$40 bet! Hope the patriots win this! Great comeback :)

Haboob 11-24-2013 10:09 PM

Slippery slope I guess. Oh well. Denvers D never was very good. Got lucky with the turn overs, such a tease thinking they were going to have this game in hand.

Haboob 11-24-2013 11:20 PM

And Welker blows it by not calling off the kick soon enough.

Unreal.

TerribleONE 11-24-2013 11:38 PM

That game was insane..

I'm sleepy now!

It got kind of boring after the first half, IMO, but that's because I don't like either teams. I only like PFM, and hate Princess Brady, so that's why the first half was good. :icon17:

Was seriously hoping they'd tie.

Chuck33079 11-25-2013 07:09 AM

So who should Houston use the first pick in the draft on?

Really? You're going to lose to the Jaguars? At home? Right about now I'd say it's time to have security escort Mr. Kubiak from the premises. Holy ****. This team was a Super Bowl contender in the preseason.

I don't think Houston will have the first pick?

They have to fight it out with Minnesota, Jacksonville, and Tampa Bay for the worst team in the No Fun League.

They should just put all of those teams in a large octagon and have a Royal Rumble to determine the first draft pick.

exsanity 11-25-2013 07:17 AM

Can't rule out Green Bay in that list now that Aaron Rodgers is out for a few more weeks.

Hou still has several games to play. I'm sure they'll manage to **** up getting the first pick too. If they end up with it, they may be dumb enough to waste it on Manziel. :rofl2:

I thought they were talking of him coming back Thursday?

Did they recant?

Haboob 11-25-2013 07:21 AM

You know what, I'm kind of afraid of the Raiders this Thursday...

Short week, and we haven't beat an AFC West team this year yet. At least we're at ho-... ****!

At the present, he is still listed as IR and from the word around the web, he will remain that way this Thursday.

Haboob 11-25-2013 07:45 AM

Lame.

Do you know how hard this makes NFL pools?

And they won't let me pick "tie", which I honestly would have done for the Pack v Vikes game, because they are both garbage right now.

Haboob 11-25-2013 07:46 AM

Actually, they're playing Detroit, I think it's an easy pick (no pun intended on Stafford, :icon17: )

exsanity 11-25-2013 07:50 AM

First off, I think the whole tie thing is stupid. Second, if a tie is possible, why can't you pick it?

I agree on both points.

I have no idea. I asked and was denied without any reason.

:superghey:

Haboob 11-25-2013 08:01 AM

I asked again.

And I'm going to pick a tie this week: Miami @ NYJ.

:stirthepot:

Haboob 11-25-2013 08:05 AM

I can't decide whom to pick in the Cincy @ SD game.

SD bested the no-defense Chiefs (Chefs) yesterday, so I don't know.

exsanity 11-25-2013 08:18 AM

I'm going with SD. Rivers has been doing well and they've been playing solidly.

b1adesofcha0s 11-25-2013 08:59 AM

That game was a rollercoaster of emotions for me last night, but I'm hlad the Patriots came out with a win. I just hope the Broncos lose at least one more time so we can grab the #1 seed.

Chuck33079 11-25-2013 09:16 AM

Brady can't seem to lose to Peyton, and he can't seem to beat Eli. :rofl2:

Haboob 11-25-2013 09:23 AM

Peyton is still a better QB, IMO. Denver's defense and special teams failed them last night. They went to sleep in the second half, thinking a 3.5 point lead was enough.

** Yes, I refuse to call it a "24 point" lead when one score equals "7 points".

Denver lost because they stepped off the gas and called garbage plays.

There is no "playing it safe" against Brady.

You always lose when you build up a lead, put everything in neutral and try to coast to a win.

There's no playing it safe against any team.

It's that prevent D mentality. Or parking the bus.

I. Can't. *******. Stand. It.
It needs to be scratched from the playbooks and whoever created it drawn and quartered.

It works against certain teams, especially if you have the right personnel.

Honestly, if Denver hadn't lost their entire secondary, the TB comeback wouldn't have been quite so effective, and by then it was too late to get back on the gas.

These late season games are nice, because they remind people of two things:
1: Denver isn't as good as people think
2:Fox is a terrible coach because he has no understanding of creating depth, not because he can't coach a team to a few wins

b1adesofcha0s 11-25-2013 11:33 AM

Yeah Denver should not have let off the gas, but the turnovers definitely helped the Patriots comeback. As long as Brady is playing, the Patriots are never out of it, no matter how many points they are down by.

LMBmikeZ 11-25-2013 07:17 PM

the fluke on the OT turnover was a rarity if not for that who is to say that denver would not have spoiled NE comeback?

Going in I knew it would be a good game though, definitely one to watch this week. It was a good game though very entertaining especially considering I am not really a fan of either team just watching as a fan of the game  kept me watching right to the end

Seahawks CB Brandon Browner facing 1 year suspensions for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. Looks like his career in Seattle is over.

LMBmikeZ 11-25-2013 07:42 PM

Ok I am taking wagers……..

which QB is making the first turnover (pick/INT) tonight?

Kaepernick or RG3?

JK :roflpuke2:

my guess is RG3 though

LMBmikeZ 11-25-2013 07:43 PM

haha

RG3 opens with a 3 & out

dmhenderson 11-25-2013 07:54 PM

The 9ers went 3 and out too. This is going to be a low scoring shitfest.
