You figure Rex Ryan wasn't specific enough making a deal with the devil?

"In exchange for my soul, I'd like to draft a quarterback just like Manning"

"Done. It's Eli."

LMBmikeZ 10-14-2013 09:51 AM

KC stayed undefeated against Oakland but it was a crazy one....based on some highlights I just watched :icon17:

not only did they do loudest open air stadium but chiefs had 10 sacks!

Oakland also faced a 3rd & 48! :rofl2:

b1adesofcha0s 10-14-2013 12:25 PM

The end of the Patriots vs Saints game was a wild one. Such a rollercoaster of emotions :icon17:

LMBmikeZ 10-14-2013 01:03 PM

:iagree: great play from brady to thompkins

they are hitting it off pretty good together this year

I notice Steve is noticeably absent after the cowboys' notable beatdown of the not so notable redskins. RGwho?

Haboob 10-14-2013 03:47 PM

Regardless, we're still the weakest division in the NFL.

And it's sad.

Romo says, "You're welcome, Denver."

b1adesofcha0s 10-14-2013 04:25 PM

Another interesting note on the Pats game, they went to recently signed WR Austin Collie twice on the game winning drive. Hopefully he can become another reliable receiver for the Patriots.

That last pick was all D. Reasonable pass attempt given the situation.

I didn't watch the game, but it never fails that Romo will screw up in a crucial situation.

He was trying to make something happen, things don't always turn out well. In this case no one was open "enough" and he needed to get the ball downfield.

Romo gets a lot more flack than he deserves. Peyton's pick was far uglier.

Haboob 10-15-2013 09:12 AM

So Romo was forcing it, like he always does when he gets in trouble... INT is on him then. Can't force it in those situations, that's his biggest downfall.

He can keep plays alive better than anyone in recent times, but makes that fatal mistake of trying to force the throw.

2:04 left on 2nd and 16 from your own 14...you don't have a choice. Brady or Manning would have likely made the same sort of mistake.

It was a safe throw if Trev wasn't a mind-reading, blisteringly fast LB

Haboob 10-15-2013 10:01 AM

He threw into triple coverage, that's awful quarterbacking. You throw it away at at that point or hit Murray there for a couple of yards and hope he can get some YAC.

Nah, Trev wasn't there when he threw it. You'll have to watch game film to see. Trev switched directions when he caught Romo's eye. It was a reasonable desperation pass that 6/10 times works out well. The pick was a freak occurrence.

I'm shocked how many people are surprised by the Texans this year. It's like they're new to Houston sports. Any time there's an expectation to succeed, they fail. When they are expected to suck, they overachieve. They must be new to the city. I clearly remember the Oilers-Bills game that told me everyting I ever need to know about this city and sports. :rofl2:

It was a crazy diving interception. Don't know why you're criticizing the play so much when you didn't even watch the game. If you're going to blame someone, blame the defense for allowing 51 points.

Rooster89 10-20-2013 03:56 PM

Cowboys played pretty damn well that second half. except for those 2 offsides back to back.

MC 10-20-2013 04:15 PM

panthers now 3-3 and with a quick turn around win against the Bucs thursday I can wear my hat in public again!!!!!

LMBmikeZ 10-20-2013 04:58 PM

Agreed. We came out to play in the second half, thankfully.

As for the offsides and false starts... wtf?

How about the overturned INT that was an INT? That ball NEVER touched the ground. At least we held them to a FG, but it was such BS.

And, Barkley continues the trend of USC quarterbacks.:rofl2: :rofl2:

THAT WAS SUCH AND TOTAL BS!!!! seriously I yelled so loud, i woke up my roommate (who doesn't understand football but claims packers allegiance....wisconsin). Seriously that was messed up. Infuriating. The call on the field was INT. THEY NEED CLEAR, UNDISPUTED EVIDENCE TO OVERTURN THE CALL ON THE FIELD!!!!#@#%#!!%^$^&%#$!!!!

But we won:tiphat:

Haboob 10-20-2013 06:29 PM

I go to the bar so I don't yell at the games, and I still yelled... :icon17:

I was surprised that Indy beat Denver last night! But Denver did have opportunities to tie it up after being down by 19 at one point!

b1adesofcha0s 10-21-2013 08:17 AM

That was a stupid rule to give the jets 15 yds and a 1st down at the end of the game.

Wasn't surprised that The Colts beat the Broncos. Broncos were due for a loss and the Colts were the most complete team they've faced yet.

Chuck33079 10-21-2013 08:18 AM

Well, it looks like the Schaub era in Houston is over. Keenum actually threw the ball downfield and it didn't stop ten yards short of the intended reciever. Even though it was a loss, it was the first competitive game in weeks.

And then Jamaal Charles ends Cushing's season on a cheesedick cut block. Broken leg, torn LCL. To follow that, Charles's encore was to punch J.J. Watt in the nuts when he jumped to try and swat down a pass.

Broncos played terrible all night on at least one side of the ball. Champ looked terrible until he went back out with the foot, and Von was not himself.

I was honestly most disappointed with the Denver OL. Couldn't even hold up against a basic 4 man rush.

I am mostly glad for the loss as I'm hoping it will wake the team up and remind them they are not as good as everyone seems to think they are.

Yeah but the NFL had to create their storyline of Manning/Brady losses somehow
