i couldnt find any NHL threads so i figured i would start an official one.

post about hockey, hockey news, players, your favorite teams (talk a little smack), and whatnot.

now that the ridiculous lockout is over there should be plenty to post about

NHL tries to compete with NFL and NBA and to a lesser degree, MLB. Unfortunately, not even people are hockey fans.

Are you going to switch to the AHL/IHL whatever they call themselves now?

N H L ? Are they back?

Yea cba was agreed upon and I believe they ratified it last night. Now they just have to determine when camps will start and they will be 1 week long. Then it will most likely be a 48 game season. Playoffs should be done end of June and the day after the Stanley cup is done they will have the draft.

MSG is NOT awful for hockey! It's insane there whenever I go. Come through and we can go to a game.

I've been there for like 5 games nothing special. It's not set up for hockey

It def is lol I think all hockey arenas except msg and the staples center are the only 2 that are not built with hockey as its primary focus.

Everything is the same other than the fact that the floor can change to basketball. Who cares?

Denver? U mean Colorado avalanche? Lol yes u are correct but those were purpose built for hockey as a primary. Msg was not. Maybe I've just been spoiled with arenas here being amazing for hockey lol

Wrong once again. The Pepsi Arena where they both play opened in 1999 where BOTH teams opened their seasons. It was not built for hockey. Once again, try harder brotha you cannot take me down on sports convos lol
