Hamilton had the line. Maldonado blatantly turned into him.

I feel bad for him, in fact, he could just wait for the next corner or so, cos Hamilton does not have any rear left at all, maybe that's the difference between experienced and not... :icon17:

Maybe. He does have a tendency to force the issue. I'm sure next time he'll be a bit more patient.

I hate to say it, but Hamilton should have been smarter and given way - he didn't have the tires left and he needed the points more than the position.

He should be driving smarter these days with his experience.

Give away?? Agree and Disagree, he's a race car driver.

I don't particular like him or not, but he's kind of right:

“I don’t know where I would have finished but my tyres were just gone,” Hamilton told reporters after making his way back to the paddock. “It was almost like I had flat tyres at the back of my car, but you never let people past. You have to fight for every position.” -- Hamilton, Post Race Interview

Hamilton had the inside line for the corner, Maldanoldor should have given way.

I bet he would have finished in the points - and the way this year is going, they'll probably be valuable at the end.

I am very curious in the cause of the accident, seems she had finished the straight line test and was slowing down before the crash...

Titan1080 07-05-2012 11:27 PM

She had completed an installation run and was returning to the pit. The car's anti-stall might have resulted in a sudden acceleration as she was pitting, but I thought that system was supposed to disengage the clutch at the same time. From what I've seen of the reports, the truck was probably way too close to the pit area and she might not have had enough time to take corrective/evasive action. It's a shame her career had to end this way.

Did you all see the "paint" jobs on the Red Bulls? Individual pictures of everyone who has donated to their charity. Pretty cool.

Kinda drying a bit. Rain expected.

Rain in Q is interesting. Always makes for an unusual grid.
