Yeah I think only the bobcats lead them in losses this season.

cow 02-09-2012 10:38 AM

I grew up a Mavs fan as we didn't have a team & I liked their colors better than the Rockets, but then we got the Hornets, so I kind of split my loyalties. It hasn't been a great year either way, though.

I dont think any amount of hair can cover that forehead. :icon17:

nmjaxx9 02-09-2012 10:06 PM

and looks like the all star reserves have been picked:

Quote:

Perennial All-Stars Paul Pierce (Boston Celtics) and Dirk Nowitzki (Dallas Mavericks) have been chosen as All-Stars for the 10th and 11th time, respectively, and headline the list of 14 players that have been selected by the coaches as reserves for the 2012 NBA All-Star Game, the NBA announced today.

The 2012 NBA All-Star Game, which will air live at 7 p.m. ET on TNT and ESPN Radio in the U.S., and reach fans in more than 200 countries and territories in more than 40 languages, will be played at Amway Center in Orlando on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012.

Joining Pierce as reserves on the East squad are Chris Bosh (Miami Heat), Luol Deng (Chicago Bulls), Roy Hibbert (Indiana Pacers), Andre Iguodala (Philadelphia 76ers), Joe Johnson (Atlanta Hawks), and Deron Williams (New Jersey Nets). Deng, Hibbert and Iguodala are first-time All-Stars, while Williams earns his third trip, Johnson his sixth, and Bosh his seventh.

Nowitzki, whose 11 selections are consecutive, is joined on the West team by reserves LaMarcus Aldridge (Portland Trail Blazers), Marc Gasol (Memphis Grizzlies), Kevin Love (Minnesota Timberwolves), Steve Nash (Phoenix Suns), Tony Parker (San Antonio Spurs), and Russell Westbrook (Oklahoma City Thunder). For Aldridge and Gasol, this marks their first All-Star selection. It's the second All-Star nod for both Love and Westbrook, while Parker goes for the fourth time, and Nash, at 38 the oldest player in this year's game, is an All-Star for the eighth time.

Selected to start in the East -- through the 2012 NBA All-Star Balloting presented by Sprint -- were Derrick Rose (Bulls), LeBron James and Dwyane Wade (Heat), Carmelo Anthony (New York Knicks), and Dwight Howard (Orlando Magic). Voted to start for the West were Kobe Bryant and Andrew Bynum (Los Angeles Lakers), Blake Griffin and Chris Paul (Los Angeles Clippers), and Kevin Durant (Thunder).

Last nights game Lakers vs Celtics... pretty epic. Was yelling at my screen for Rondo to hurry up in the last 6 secs of the 4th... he couldn't find ray ray.
Then they lose in OT... not cool

phelan 02-10-2012 11:40 AM

Agreed, he needs to take time off like Wade did, Wade took enough time for his injuries to heal up (8 games) and now hes back and fresh.

D.Rose needs to do the same.

One_Quick_Z 02-14-2012 09:25 AM

I know he loves to compete but there comes a point when the Coach and/or GM needs to say your sitting out a week or maybe two dont worry we will make the playoffs just need you healthy for the post season....

DAN

cow 02-14-2012 11:15 AM

Agreed

He takes coaching really really well. He doesn't have a huge bravado hubris thing. So if Thibs tells him to sit out for a few games. he will do it with no complaints. he won't be happy but none of those guys would talk back to thibs....well maybe noah would. We need Rose and Lu healthy for the postseason. especially since luol is really the only guy on the team who shut almost anyone down defensively.

Yeah a couple weeks out shouldn't hurt the team, seeing as they are tied with the Heat in the Eastern Conference.

Rooster89 02-14-2012 08:05 PM

I am getting really tired of this dwight howard crap. I know i was part of it, and piece of me would still like to see him in red and white. but now the way he acting towards the media, i'm not sure if he could hack it in chicago off the court and if thats a guy i want in our locker room.
