Wahhhhhhhhhhhhh : Heat fans

DAN

saber 06-20-2013 12:12 PM

heat fans: when did you adopt the silly notion of chanting seven nation army in your arena? it was fun for soccer after a goal, but it just seems really stupid and out of place in basketball.

LBJ is under 24/7 scrutiny.

Past superstars werent subjected to it like he is.

Just saying.

I have nothing about LBJ, I just don't like the Heat because they beat the Mavs in the 2006 finals.

:rofl2: it doesn't make me upset, i just laugh when i hear it. it just seems so forced.

red2010z 06-20-2013 06:53 PM

They need to get off LBJ nuts. He is a successful player. Sorry he can't carry the whole team. He ain't playing for the Cav's nomore he in on a talented team and those other starters need to bring some help if they wanna beat the Spurs tonight. Please LORD please don't be a blowout.

Was pulling for the Spurs. They blew it in game 6. But I'll settle for anyone other than the Lakers.

According to Wiki

The song has been used in the hype video played before each Miami Heat home game in the 2012-13 season

so just this season.

In other news...it's going to be a looooooooooooooooooong off season for all teams except Miami.

Caustic 06-21-2013 11:26 AM

I think the chanting of 7 Nation Army is pretty cool. It's different and contemporary compared to the 40+ year old musical cues I hear around the league. Being in an enclosed stadium and hearing 20k people all chanting it is pretty incredible.

The one thing at the end of the game that I didn't expect was how I felt about the Spurs. Duncan specifically. I really want him to win another championship. But I think Miami needed to get this out of the way to shut the hate up for a bit. Hopefully Timmy will be in the Finals next year, or at least before he retires and garners another ring.

red2010z 06-21-2013 06:30 PM

what a beautiful ending!

YESSSSS MIAMI :happydance:

Great end to the game. Lebron had the clutch jumper to close out the spurs. The spurs should have closed out the Heat in Game 6. But Tony Parker was burntttttt. :rofl2:

Lebron is the f'ckin man though. Like he said in his interview "I aint got no worries."

I was in Mexico on vacation when the Heat won the championship. Every channel was futbol...so I had to catch it on sports center. Sad I missed it. But go Heat! I won my bets :)

that will series will go down in history. Lets hope they keep the big 3 around. I was reading in the news that they can't afford the big 3 next year :(

But hopefully Ray Allen and the Birdman get a contract!

Caustic 06-23-2013 09:57 PM

That vid was bad as s.

nmjaxx9 06-30-2013 02:23 PM

MIAMI all day evryday!!!! :happydance:

saber 07-11-2013 11:58 AM

Starting 5 for next year's LA Lakers:

PG: Steve Nash (AND Jordan Farmar AND Steve Blake..what.)
SG: SASHA VUJACIC (COME BACK BRO!)
SF: Crazy Pills (should have gone in for Mike Dunleavy!)
PF: Pau Gasol
C: Chris Kaman

It's like Minnesota all over again! I can't even begin to fathom how much FAIL this season will be for them. All I know is: this season will be HILARIOUS.

I am LOVING this off season. Lolkers :roflpuke2:

Caustic 07-11-2013 03:29 PM

The Lakers are going to be pretty irrelevant for at least the next 5 years. I doubt Kobe will see another ring, or pass Jabbar for top scoring. He might pass Jabbar if he is around for another 4-5 years.

nmjaxx9 07-14-2013 02:45 PM

Dwight left the Lakers!!!!!! :roflpuke2:

nmjaxx9 08-04-2013 01:31 PM

Dwight left the Lakers. I knew that would happen. :rofl2:

He has to find what team he want to be on, its sad when you one team doesnt want you and the other one doubts u. :roflpuke2:

Dwight go get a life :inoutroflpuke:

Honestly, his move to Houston was the best move for him. No way he could have lasted in LA. The media would crush him every day. He wouldn't be winning there anyway. With Houston he has a chance.

Rooster89 08-09-2013 10:13 PM

Quality big men are really at a premium too. Its not like 20 years ago where the big men were the stars. Now with the rule tweaks, its all about the guard. Blame Michael Jordan. The nba saw how much money he made them, so they tailored the game to try and allow more MJs.

nmjaxx9 08-11-2013 12:29 PM

Season opener October 29th. Miami @ Bulls. Easy kill :icon17:
