36. That is all. Carry on
|
San Antonio screaming Seven Nation Army at the end was icing on the cake. Top banter, lads
|
Whew, I was having waking nightmares of Mike Breen yelling "BANG! Gary Neal! BANG! Danny Green!". Glad that's over.
And all is right with the world again. |
This is a great night. The Heat won and now I'm at the theatre seeing superman. Thank you D-wade!
|
Yerrrrrp Heat swept the Spurs. No question. :roflpuke2:
|
Critical game tonight. Will Wade hit 30 again? Will LeBron shrink from adversity? Will Ginobili show up? Will Parker tear a hamstring? Will Duncan and Bosh just hang out on the court reminiscing about the good old days when they were the first option on their team?
Looking forward to this! |

Spurs in 6 baby..

WOW, WHAT A GAME! I nearly pooped my pants several times. But several things have become apparent after watching this game:
Ray Allen is a cold blooded assassin. Chris Bosh isn't completely useless. Lebron James will never be the GOAT. Game 7 coming up. |
This game 7 will be the death of me it seems. I hope they shut danny green down and mike miller comes in and hits 5/5.
|
Game 7 baby! What a game last night city was rocking!
|
LBJ looks worn out like a mofo. That Ray Allen 3 was beautiful!

Haslem didn't play a minute. I wonder if Spo is going to play him game 7, and if saving him was a strategy? |

Everybody is on LeBron's nuts about the 4th quarter, but do you remember anybody in the GOAT discussion absolutely CHOKING on the last couple of plays, and getting bailed out by somebody else? LeBron owes Ray Allen a six pack of beer for that dagger 3! Chris Bosh flexing and celebrating was hilarious...as was Miami turning on him at halftime. Way to go guys! :rofl2: |

I'm totally ok with Bosh celebrating. After being abused by Duncan all game in the paint, he ended up having critical and clutch rebounds and blocks that won us the game. He is beat on and trashed constantly by the media and fans, he deserves a little bit of celebrating. |

I would have to disagree with you and say that Kobe is the best since Jordan. |

I'm still reeling from that game though. Not even a Spurs fan, but I just feel bad for them. 7 seconds!!!

Hoping Godzilla emerges from the Atlantic ocean and accidentally stomps all over the stadium tomorrow night if the Heat win
|
Never seen a more hated team before.
I dont get it. Sent from my SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2 |

I don't hate the entire team, city or coaches, just a "certain" player. All-in-all, it's been a good series, but you know who I am rooting for :woot:. |

Considering he is not a leader. Terrible teamate. Ball hog. Terrible shooting stats. And Shaq gifted him 3 rings. No. He is closer to Carmelo than Jordan. And I am a Knicks fan. James beats him in virtually every statistical category including clutch shots. All except rings. Cause Robert Horry is the GOAT! |
Miami probably would've won already if Wade and James stopped whining at the referees after every 'blown' call and hustled back on defense :icon17:

Kobe a terrible teammate?? He averages 27 5 5 throughout most of his career. Kobe a ball hog?? Yeah he "used" to be...but Kobe has been a much more mature player the last 5 years or so. Kobe has terrible shooting stats?? Yeah, the man shoots the ball a lot but i think his FG is 45% and his FT is 83%. Thats not "terrible" if you ask me. Jeremy Lin's FG% is the definition of terrible. Kobe got gifted 3 rings by Shaq?? Wow, I guess the 27-30 points Kobe averaged in the playoffs during that 3-peat had no affect on the outcome of any of those rings. I've said this probably a million times in my lifetime. Shaq couldn't have won without Kobe and Kobe couldn't have won without Shaq (that's why its called a team). Go back and watch the tapes my friend you will see that Shaq was benched a lot during the 4th quarter of playoff games because of the "Hack a Shaq" rule. Kobe is closer to Carmelo than Jordan?? Is this real...? You just critizied Kobe's terrible shooting...here is a little stat i thought you might like to know. Kobe and Carmelo both shoot .45% FG throughout their whole career BUT......Kobe shoots 83% FT. Carmelo shoots 80% FT. Here is more details on Kobe vs Carmelo.... Career averages for Kobe Bryant: 25 points (this is considering he sat on the bench his first 2 years) 5 assists 5 rebounds 1.5 steals Career averages for Carmelo Anthony: 25 points 3 assists 6 rebounds 1 steal Lebron might have a better clutch shot % but if you ask 100 non bias people who is more clutch Lebron or Kobe...I guarantee you 90% would say Kobe. Please shed more light as to why LeBron is closer to Jordan than Kobe? Just because he has better stats? If that is the case then Wilt Chamberlin is the GOAT. Kobe has won 5/7 NBA FINALS! LeBron has won 1/3 (swept in 1st finals by the Spurs) and has 1 pending tomorrow so it could either be 1/4 or 2/4. Even if he wins this one Kobe has done way more than Lebron at this point to be recognized as the closest player to MJ. LeBron has the POTENTIAL to be the next best thing since Jordan but at this stage in his career he can not top Kobe. When his career is finished then we will have a better comparison. |
^ you lost me at used to be a ball hog. As a Los Angelean I saw many a game where Kobe shot his team OUT of a game because he couldn't trust Dwight, and Pau was hurt.
|
Living in San Antonio I wish basketball was over. God I hate basketball and this town has nothing but the spurs so add in a ton of morons and the spurs winning and i have been sitting at home scared to go out since the playoffs started for fear of drunk stupid morons on the road.

Used to be a ball hog? If Kobe had continued to pass like he did in the beginning of this season, they probably would have had a better record this season. And probably previous seasons as well. If you took Shaq during his LA ring years, and put him on any of the other top 7 teams during those years, the probability of a Finals win is high. If you do the same thing with Kobe, the likelyhood drops dramatically. Besides, Shaq was considered the most dominant player in each of those 3 years. Shaq was not benched during those times, as has been said by Phil Jackson, his presence on the floor outweighed his poor free throw shooting. Further, Shaq's numbers go up in each of the playoff ring years from the regular season, where Kobe's goes down. Kobe vs Carmelo. I think your numbers actually proved my point. As far as people saying Kobe is more clutch even though the numbers prove that is definitively wrong, isn't that the very definition of overrated? |
I wonder if Jordan had this many haters to.
|
Quote:
But I did watch as many games of him that I could. Hard to ignore greatness. |
And everyone wants to compare rings to lebron. Well hell when he is 35 lets see how many rings he has before everyone hates on him. LBJ is going to go down as one of the greatest. I hope and pray LBJ wins tomorrow just so I can see how the haters continue to cry and whine how he is a flaker.
|
The Heat going to beat Spurs once and for all in Game 7.
|
Speaking the truth!!
|
Don't get me wrong fellas...I like LBJ he is a great player no doubt and I give him all the credit in the world. But you gotta admit he almost blew game 6 in the final 2 mins he turned the ball over a couple times and took bad shots almost costing Heat the game. Although he did hit a huge 2nd attempt 3 and Ray Allen saved LBJ and hte heat from a huge amount of critisism. In the beginning of the Lakers season they were losing because they had no team chemistry and Kobe had to take over after the all star break. He guaranteed the playoffs and he did it. How is that not being a leader? Especially when they were SOOO far out of the playoff race before the all star break. Melo wont even be known as the best top 20 player when his career is said and done and never even made it pass the 2nd round of the playoffs...I think that argument is ridiculous. LBJ doesn't have the killer instinct Kobe does or the will to win. LBJ is too passive and he has been showing it this Finals. His superstar team has gotten blown out by SA twice and outplayed honestly.
|
Why are we talking about LBJ and Kobe being in the same goat boat as Jordan? Wait until they retire, then we can compare. But if I had to choose who to build a team around? Prime Kobe vs Prime LBJ, I would take prime kobe.

LBJ is under 24/7 scrutiny. Past superstars werent subjected to it like he is. Just saying. Sent from my SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2 |
why are we comparing kobe to carmelo GIVEMETHEFUCKINGBALLSOICANSHOOTIT anthony?
even kb24 passes more than melo. |
