Although, I felt bad when the TB Bucs fired Tony Dungy after he'd turned that program around, but their gamble paid off when Chucky took them to the promised land, so maybe you're right.

I just generally dance with the gal that brought me.

Dallas took that approach with Avery in 2007, and it didn't work out for him. I understand both sides, though. I just think Spoelstra showed too many weaknesses that he needs to work on before he gets better, which would only take time away from the team's championship aspirations. I agree with Phelan in that he would be a great assistant coach.

I totally agree with you I think spoelstra will be a good coach with due time but the heat right now need a presence in a coach someone that will make them work their *** off as a heat fan im really hoping riley comes back and doesn't fire spoelstra but keeps him on the bench to show him how to do the job right.

Yeah, that's what ESPN is saying about Riley. But it's ESPN. So it should be taken with a grain of salt. They'll say anything to get attention.

dirk asked lebron if he had change for a dollar. lebron gave him 75 cents. guess he had everything but the fourth quarter.

Now the Miami fans are putting the fault on the Coach, a team is made of much more than a Coach.... :shakes head:

nope not really were analyzing the heats weaknesses it was very clear dallas wanted the title more than us not saying we didnt want it but they simply wanted it more thats why the heat lost props to dallas

Or maybe your team is overrated and Dallas is just straight up better

I wouldn't go that far buddy nyc fans got no room to comment on something that went down in the post season cause your team is irrelevant

blue660r01 06-17-2011 09:59 PM

Facts were laid out. All the games were close except the last one. Dallas is just better there is no need to make excuses and the sooner you realize that the better off you are.

dnasty370z 06-17-2011 10:04 PM

what excuse is being made? when did analyzing my home teams negative traits become an excuse when did I say eric spoelstra is the reason we lost or anything along those lines?:gtfo2:

dnasty370z 06-17-2011 10:10 PM

..........exactly blue douche! lol no hard feelings I just love my team

well what can I say I was wrong? Dont ppl usually think their team is always gonna win??
Idk you responded kinda quick before lol

blue660r01 06-17-2011 10:20 PM

No not everyone thinks their team is going to win. Take it from a Knicks fan.

dnasty370z 06-17-2011 10:24 PM

well I always try to be optimistic...Knicks just need to incorporate some defense into the game plan scoring 120 points a night isn't gonna always fly but let's see what happens this coming season I just hope football starts soon will make the wait that much easier

dnasty370z 06-17-2011 10:26 PM

actually im very optimistic cause I always think the dolphins are gonna win too but we always flop their like a bad girlfriend you just can't get rid of no matter how much they let you down lol

blue660r01 06-17-2011 10:29 PM

Knicks need more work than just a defense. They need a little more off the bench. Hopefully they can bring Wilson Chandler back this summer.

I actually think Spoelstra did pretty good for what he had, sure he should have changed up his tactic when Dallas moved to the zone defense and made LBJ and Dwade a shooter. Here are the reasons why the Heat lose:

Defense: Miami has a outstanding defense during Bulls and Celtics series. LBJ and Dwade can cover so much ground. But where was it during the Finals 4th quarter. Jason Terry and Jason kidd was killing them lol lil *** Barea was going to the paint anytime he wants, LBJ was playing passive D he couldn't figure out how to guard terry with or without the ball. LBJ was able to shut down rose on the 4th, but can't figure out why he couldn't guard jason terry.

Immaturity: Too many turnovers, Dwade dribbling the ball on his foot and fumbling a pass. Lebron I think avg almost 3.6 TO a game, and 24 TO during the whole series. Not too mention excessive premature celebration, whenever they make a good play they act like this is first time they dunked the ball, firing up the Mavs. Making fun of Dirk in front of the Dallas Mavericks camera. I mean pretty much they acted how a 16 year old would act. Not to mention LBJ post game remarks, like skip said lebron is 26, looks like 36 and acts like a 16 years old.

Mavs Zone D: I predicted that the only way to beat Miami is to get to a Zone D. There is just no way in hell anyone can guard lebron and wade man to man, they need to make them a jump shooter. Well obviously it worked. Mind you it's harder to play zone in the NBA because of the 3 sec violation and the touch fouls. But the mavs was able to pull it off with the right personnel.

LBJ disapearance: This one I didn't see coming, I don't mind a player trying to jack up 30 shots at least he trying, but to totally disappear in the 4th quarter was mind buggling to me. Whenever somebody passed the ball to LBJ, see how quick he pass the ball to somebody else.

Overall I think this is the reason why they lost. I think the LBJ 4th quarter performance is what killed them. The game was always close till the last minute, I think there was a point on game 6 where it was tied 100-100, and LBJ was nowhere to be found and dwade was having a bad night. I know people is quick on calling out the coach but when a game is tied 100-100 in the last minute of the game, you can throw out the playbook because the game into iso plays and it becomes mavs superstars vs heat superstars. At the end of the day the Mavs just wanted it more.
