^Not! We have a series again boys! I have to admit that when D-Wade made that 3 to put Miami up by 15 I almost lost faith in my Mavs.

PapoZalsa 06-03-2011 08:15 AM

All predictions are out of the window now!

Why are the Heat fans so quiet today? Still chewing on that slice of humble pie?

What a bunch of missed calls by the refs. This is a poorly officiated game.

W.O.W. 370Z 06-05-2011 09:36 PM

ok where are the fouls that they are calling on Miami? This is getting a bit obvious and frankly pathetic.

C'mon now.... It'll be a miracle if we win.

This is the first time you post (today) since I started the thread.

Good game!

W.O.W. 370Z 06-05-2011 10:06 PM

Just read through the whole thread, did you go to Miami Christian OP?

phelan 06-06-2011 12:36 PM

NBA Finals: LeBron James can't win, even after win - ESPN

jesus christ ESPN get off of lebron's nuts please.

dAvenue 06-06-2011 12:53 PM

It's ridiculous how many blowhards ESPN has employed as "experts". They have a few good analysts that can make strong and balanced arguments. The rest of the bunch, though, just act like groupies or apologists.

Thats the HS JJ went to. He was imported from PR to play in Miami, big scandal back in early 2000's.

dnasty370z 06-06-2011 09:14 PM

Lets go heat!!!!!!!!!!!

Z1804 06-07-2011 11:06 AM

There's no way Dallas can bet Miami. If Miami loses it will be because they beat themselves. Dallas has led for a total of 6 seconds in all of the 4th quarters. Dallas has been dominated throughout the series. Miami just has not learned how to hold on to a lead. LeBron is due for a great performance. Just hope it's not tonight. If it is and Dallas loses, the Mavs will not be going back to South Beach.

Good luck guys!

dAvenue 06-07-2011 05:55 PM

Well, WOW, Jason Terry started running his mouth today. Instead of letting sleeping dogs lie, he just gave LeBron even more motivation to shut him down tonight (as if he needed any help). I like Terry, but damn this was stupid. I have to admit that I'm worried about tonight's game.

phelan 06-07-2011 06:14 PM

holy **** there's essays in here.

I would just like to point out that ESPN is a sh*t source for anything when the Miami Heat are involved. They have the whole 'Heat Index' ********, for chrissakes. It's like the second coming of Jesus on the hardwood.

And no, not Jesus Shuttlesworth.

dAvenue 06-07-2011 06:54 PM

And nobody f*cks with the Jesus. LOL

dAvenue 06-07-2011 07:59 PM

It's showtime! Let's get it done Mavs!

PapoZalsa 06-07-2011 08:34 PM

Hey W.O.W. 370Z, how are the refs doing tonight? :D

Jose Aliling 06-07-2011 09:10 PM

go MIAMI FTW!!

blue660r01 06-07-2011 09:23 PM

Wow Heat fans are awful lol

blue660r01 06-07-2011 10:49 PM

That game nearly gave me a heart attack. The MAVS won't go away. We cannot close a game to save our lives.

Hats off to the MAVS. Great game for sure.

I hope Lebron decides to grace us with his presence game 5.

phelan 06-08-2011 12:33 PM

In the end, the Heat shot themselves in the foot down the stretch, which differed from the Game 2 meltdown when they shot themselves out of the game. On Tuesday, the Heat turned the ball over six times in the final 12 minutes of the game, which led to five Dallas points on the other end. In a game decided by just three points, those fumbles cost them the game.
Thanks ESPN for making every win or loss about the Heat 24/7, and never once mentioning that Dallas showed a resiliency against the Heat that few in the league have. Or mentioning that Shawn Marion was CLUTCH in the 3rd quarter. Or that some of those turnovers are because Dallas going to a zone defense knocked them out of their comfort zone and forced some ugly offensive sets out of an obviously NOT half-court Heat squad. Nope. Just a bunch of 'unforced turnovers' 'uncharacteristic of the team'. And a small article about 'Dirk's fever game'.

As a neutral, I'm two things:
1.) I'm tired of the Heat talk.
2.) This is a great, GREAT series. So 'analysts' should just SHUT UP and enjoy the game. Four games in, and worth every day of waiting / wading through an 82 game season.

Is anybody else as excited about the coaching as I am? Carlisle's adjustments after the half was TREMENDOUS in result.

He is alive! :hello:

PapoZalsa 06-09-2011 08:46 PM

Why the only talk in game 5 is only about LeBron?

No credits for any of the Mavs players? :shakes head:

dAvenue 06-09-2011 10:55 PM

The Mavs held it down tonight. Hopefully, they will carry this momentum into Game 6 to bring home their first title. As a Mavs fan for the last 25 years, I really can't explain how excited I am right now. Let's get it done boys!

phelan 06-09-2011 11:29 PM

JET + JKidd = THE CLOSERS?!

Oh my.

*braces for the "oh if d.wade wasn't hurt we would've won the championship" excuses*

I don't think he was really injured that bad. I don't care he stayed in the locker room. You don't injure your hip badly enough to stay in the locker room, then go out in the 3rd qtr and look THAT fluid. An injured player would suck it up and move on, not knock down a three, then make a rather awkward looking "i made a poopie it smells" face to the crowd.

Well played, Dwayne, well played. Want your wheelchair again?

What a GREAT series this is though. Carlisle might have the upper hand on Spoelstra now, though.

I am with you bro. I was there when they started and will be with them all the way. Remember Aquire, Blackmon, Tarply, Shrempf... And I also remember suffering through all those crappy years. This has been the best playoff series I have ever watched hands down and I hope our guys can close it out.
