Congrats to all the Pats fans.

b1adesofcha0s 01-22-2012 06:51 PM

Trollolololol the Pats D actually stepped up for once and showed that it does exist. It was a tough game and a lot closer than I expected. Good job by both teams.

Dude stop crying and accept that they lost and they got beat by the Patriots.

I'm not crying. I'm stating fact. You're the one crying.

It's ok Steve, it will all be ok once that Patriots win the Super Bowl. ;)

Should have seen me and my cousin at work at the end of the game. We were both panicking. :icon17:

Lemers 01-22-2012 08:22 PM

Close game

m4a1mustang 01-22-2012 08:27 PM

Giants got a lucky break with that punt. Looks like this one is gonna go down to the wire.

m4a1mustang 01-22-2012 09:28 PM

Wow he did it again.

m4a1mustang 01-22-2012 09:29 PM

Giants vs. Patriots. I think the Giants are the better team of the two at the moment.

MJB 01-22-2012 09:44 PM

Does anyone else hate the NFL OT rules? I wish they would just give them a 10min quarter and whoever has highest score at the end wins. Hate sudden death.

*No, I'm not a 49er fan.

Yeah I am not a fan of sudden death OT. I think you could give them 10 minutes and if they are tied after that then you can go to sudden death in the interest of time.

MJB 01-22-2012 09:51 PM

I think the Patriots are going to win this time around. I think in this "pass happy, stand back in shotgun and throw 60x's a game" era of football, a high powered offense will win you games more so then a dominate defense.

I don't know... I think it might be close but I think the Giants are in better position. I don't think the Pats have really been tested at all in the post season. Broncos wasn't a game at all and I feel like they won today because the Ravens just beat themselves. I think it's going to be tough for them against the Giants.

I hope you are right! Can't stand the Pats.

Skeeterbop 01-22-2012 09:58 PM

IMO the 49er's should have won if their special teams hadn't screwed up twice. I'll be rooting for the Giants though. I can't stand the Patriots.

m4a1mustang 01-22-2012 09:58 PM

And if the Giants don't beat the Pats, we'll have to deal with b1ades' trolling for a few more months. :bowrofl:

:iagree:

Today was about the better teams (IMO) beating themselves.

Skeeterbop 01-22-2012 09:59 PM

And I agree with the 10 minute OT thing. Or they could adopt the college football overtime rules. I would be happy with that.

Yeah and it's gonna be a close game for the SB too. Might also come down to one mistake at the end to decide who wins. I think both teams have good momentum going in to this. Their offenses did well in the regular season, but their defenses were bad. Now their defenses are stepping up and helping them win these games. Both teams got tested against great defenses today and their offenses did enough to get them the win.

dennis26 01-22-2012 10:54 PM

This time around it will be differant. The Giants won't need a helmet catch to win. Eli and the D will put some distance between them and the Pats. Sorry Blades maybe next year.

I will never accept that. We're going to win this! :icon17:

I just hope Gronkowski is ok and will be healthy by SB time.

Rooster89 01-23-2012 12:29 AM

I'm going to pretend that both the patriots and the giants lose the superbowl. *puts hands over ears* lalalalalalalalalalalalala

haitech 01-23-2012 01:27 AM

I'm speechless of some of the plays that went down today.

I'm gonna have to say Fvck Bernard Pollard! That bastard keeps injuring all are best players! Brady in 08, Welker in 09, and now Gronkowski?!?!?!?! We need a special game plan to take care of his azz next time :icon17:

Though I did like the suggestion on yahoo that the Pats just sign him to keep their team safe and to improve their secondary :roflpuke2:

b1adesofcha0s 01-23-2012 10:49 AM

Didn't even realize Kyle Arrington got injured during the game. Just what our secondary needs heading into the SB :shakes head:

Needed some Pats gear to wear for the SB. It will always serve its purpose to remind my cousin of our victory over the Ravens. That's enough for me :p
