I turned off the tom/tim game. time to watch the bulls. football is gonna be boring the rest of the day.

m4a1mustang 01-14-2012 08:45 PM

I was really hoping the Broncos would be able to make a game out of it but it sure doesn't look like that's going to happen. This is going to be 50+ to probably sub 20.

Rooster89 01-14-2012 08:46 PM

Checked the score. ouch. yeah the bulls game is a lottttt moreeee exciting!

Red__Zed 01-14-2012 08:48 PM

I'm calling 72-7

I would say 50 tops, the Patriots will slowly start phasing out players so they can keep them 100% for next week.

Rooster89 01-14-2012 08:57 PM

You just don't expect this in second round of the playoffs. Props to New england.

b1adesofcha0s 01-14-2012 09:52 PM

Tebows just got trollolololololololed by the Patriots. We're going to be Super Bowl champions this year, I can feel it! :woot:

b1adesofcha0s 01-14-2012 09:55 PM

Now I just want to see him throw his 7th TD pass and break the record. Surprised they didn't go for it there.

Red__Zed 01-14-2012 11:33 PM

i ain't even mad y0

BlackZeda 01-15-2012 08:48 AM

Well that was about the most depressing football game I have ever watched.

Yeah, granted the Broncos have a lot of injuries, but the Patriots defense isn't THAT good. I know that Tebow can improve on the off season, but they need to find some good linemen on both sides.

Quinton Carter and Rahim Moore live in my condo complex, and just a couple weeks ago Rahim Moore almost ran me over....I better watch my step the next couple days...Since they couldn't hit anyone last night they might take it out on me :icon14:

b1adesofcha0s 01-15-2012 12:06 PM

Their defense isn't good, but I think this was the healthiest they've been all season.

Yep, that that is huge in the post-season. I actually had them on my FF team, which they did pretty well for me.

It is even huge-er considering you have Brady, Welker, Hernadez and Gronkowski on the other side

Definitely. This Texans vs Ravens game is getting good. Texans seem to be doing pretty well, but they can't seem to get anymore points on the board.

Rooster89 01-15-2012 02:57 PM

Houston may rally back.

b1adesofcha0s 01-15-2012 03:06 PM

I hope so.

m4a1mustang 01-15-2012 03:10 PM

Steve 2 - Shahid 1

Now I think the Ravens beat the Pats.

Wrong, I also picked the ravens. Were tied 2-2.

I think the Pats will beat the Ravens, who looked pretty bad today IMO. Combine that with the fact that the Ravens have been playing bad all year and the possibility of Ed Reed being hurt and all signs point to a Patriots victory. Will be a good game though and I can't wait till next Sunday.

Ahh that's right, we did pick the Ravens.

Ravens were 12-4, swept the division, beat SF and then Houston twice and are the second seed in the AFC. A few bad games this year, sure, but playing bad all year, not hardly.

:iagree:

I think they're going to beat the Pats like they did the last time they met in the Playoffs.

Rooster89 01-15-2012 03:49 PM

I got ravens over pats too. green bay over new york. san fran and green bay gonna be close.

m4a1mustang 01-15-2012 03:49 PM

I think NYG over GB... but either way I think San Fran is going to beat either one.

b1adesofcha0s 01-15-2012 04:12 PM

Last time the Ravens beat us in the playoffs, we didn't have Welker. Now we have him and the Gronkowski + Hernandez duo is better than ever. Ravens don't play as well on the road, they aren't their usual dominant team. I can see that from watching all their games this year, which will be a bit of an advantage for us.

dennis26 01-15-2012 04:14 PM

Pats over the Ravens. Giants over Green Bay.

blue660r01 01-15-2012 04:14 PM

Giants all day

Red__Zed 01-15-2012 04:17 PM

Looking rough

b1adesofcha0s 01-15-2012 04:24 PM

That call should have been a fumble.

Someone just walked in wearing a Broncos hoodie. I had to resist the urge to Tebow :icon17:

blue660r01 01-15-2012 04:33 PM

Deff was a fumble......garbage refs.

Pats beat by the Bills, beat by Pittsburgh who we beat twice, barely escaped the Colts, the Redskins and Miami and the defense has been horrible. I like our chances next week.

All of our losses were by 8 points or less and pretty much came down to the last minutes of the game. We're also riding a 9 game win streak and coming off a record setting performance against the Broncos.

Ravens on the other hand lost to the Titans, Jaguars, Seahawks, and Chargers (who we beat). They got whooped by the Chargers just one month ago and barely got past the Texans today.

I like our chances next week too ;)

Dude....I want the Ravens to win but this is the playoffs. Don't get cocky.
