I love watching Silva fight too. I hope Weidman doesn't, I'd rather see Silva come out and find some new crazy way to finish the fight.

na hall needs no piece of silva he needs fight a middle of the road guy like stann/munoz/leben/Le/boetsch as a first fight. did you guys know he has already fought and lost to weidman like early in his career

I can't wait to see what he's like at the finale this Saturday. There's usually a huge jump in preparation and skill from the last episode of TUF to the finale fight. He could be even better with a full training camp. Same with Kelvin, who will probably see more improvement from it.

GSP said he's already training for Hendricks. I really like GSP but don't know about this one. I feel Hendricks is going to rip threw GSP. Like first round.

GSP will win if it goes to a decision. Otherwise Hendricks will take it.

I have a good feeling about Hendricks in this one though. Hopefully it won't go like the Koscheck fight where a quick jab busted up his eye at the very start of the fight.

GSP is so boring. I won't pay to watch a UFC event that he's the main event in. Can't stand him.

I really thought Koscheck was going to beat him in that last fight, he just couldn't do it with one eye.....and GSP couldn't finish an opponent with one eye for 5 whole rounds......

Big Rig will win this fight. He wants it more. I predict it to be in devastating fashion. He will not let the lay n pray King go to decision. If GSP doesn't fight to win instead of points Hendricks will be victorious. It is the end of the road Jack!

I typically wont buy a GSP fight either for that reason. But I will watch them at the local B Dubs. However I will buy the Hendricks fight in support of him and to see my prediction come true.

I mean I can understand and appreciate the strategic part of fighting and playing it safe when you're title is on the line, but GSP just takes it to a whole different level. When you just completely dominate and control your opponents like he does, you have no excuse not to finish the fight.

Wasn't that the issue with Silva too? I haven't been into UFC all that long (about four years or so).

However, Silva seems to have change and makes his fights entertaining, even if he's 20x better than his opponent.

Though, I'm a Silva fan, because everyone else seems to hate him. :p :tup:



I cannot wait to see Bones Jones (probably my true fav.) destroy Sonnen. Sonnen is one of the few people I cannot stand... sure, he can talk and is sometimes funny, but the fact that he's talked himself into three title fights w/o ever winning seemingly anything is ridiculous and undeserved.

What would be amazing is if Jones shattered his jaw and it was wired shut for a long, loooong time. :tup:

If you watched this season of TUF you would see how Sonnen really is. That is just his schtick love it or hate it when hyping the fight. But as a coach and outside the ring he is actually a pretty nice and thoughful person. He is in the business of entertainment that has a very short life cycle. So if you can talk your way into a few more dollars it is not on him but on how the UFC conducts business. If you want to be mad at anyone it is Dana White and the Fertita brothers... just my take.

Oh yeah, Dana White pisses me off for allowing this circus show to go on, but if Sonnen wants to act that way he should go join Lesnar in the WWE, because he clearly can't fight in the UFC.

Out of Silva's 16 fight UFC win streak, only 2 ever went to decision and those were the ones he was criticized for. He was kind of dancing around and not really engaging while his opponents were completely hopeless. I am a huge Silva fanboy no matter what anyone else says.

used to hate Sonnen too, until I found out how he actually is. Now I really like him. As much as people say he talked his way to the title shot, don't forget that NO ONE stepped up to fight Jones when Henderson first got injured. Not a single fighter said yes to that fight against Jones, who was too scared himself to fight Sonnen at the time.

Then Jones shouldn't be able to lose his title, as Sonnen doesn't deserve a title shot.

A fight? Sure, but not the title should he win - he's done nothing else to earn his way to that point. Same with the second fight vs. Silva.
