Celebrating tooooooo early! When the Os win the WS Championship then you can talk. When was the last time they won a WS? |
lol Texeira was safe, but I'll take it! :roflpuke2:
Of course, now Markakis is done for the season. Right when CC hit him and he walked to the dugout, my mom said, "Thumb's broken". She's a nurse, she can spot that sh*t a mile off. :( |

My point was that I said we were coming, you laughed, yet here we are, tied for first. Now we just have to try and stay here for the next few weeks. |

Not for now, what about that game today, 13-3, Yankees in 1st place again. The NYYs are not going to lay down a let the Os roll over them like everyone was thinking. ;) It still a long month but I really enjoy that game today because the Os were acting so cocky in this series. :roflpuke2: But like I said is not over until the Fat Lady signs, anyway other the NYY I prefer the Os over TB or the Suxs to win the Division anytime. I think this is going to be back and forward for 1st place, but have to watch TB. Quote:

Just one game, jose. :). Fun race for the division. May the best team win.

Let's go Pawtucket Red Sox they are in the playoffs.

Wow, great O's game tonight. Can't wait to hit Camden Yards on the 28th.

O's win in 14 innings and sweep the Rays. Now a tough road trip.

Well, Well...what about those Os? How are they doing against the As? :icon17:

O's magic continues. 16th straight extra innings win. Six straight wins. 47th save for Johnson. This is really getting fun.
|
tough loss for the brewers today. Facing a cy young contender in gio gonzales. they need to win the next 2 to stay in it I think. too bad the cubs couldnt pull out the win

NYY have won a Total of 27 World Series FYI!!!! Respect History. ;) Please spare me the pain about the highest payroll, however for all the injuries they had this year they have played better than what I expected. Cry me a river, OK! :bowrofl: Because that is all you know about baseball, quote the same thing over and over and over. :shakes head: Accept the reality, a Lucky season any team has one. Florida Marlins and other teams did in the past. This year is the O's and they could go to win the whole thing, so how knows... GL |
There's no tiebreakers in the playoffs for history. Sure, the O's are behind, but the season's not over yet.
I don't think you can call a team lucky if they do it night in and night out for 162 games. That's just pushing aside their accomplishments. |

Not crying over the payroll issue, it's just a fact and I am fine with it. I am just not a fan of the Yankee fan superiority attitude when the fact is that the Yankees can afford to buy all the best players at crazy salaries. Lets see how good a team the Yankees can field with a 100M payroll. I am impressed that you have determined my knowledge of baseball from a few posts here. Regardless of what happens, The O's have had a great season (not a lucky one) and I expect the upswing to continue. Of course that is being said with my obviously limited baseball knowledge. |

I have been a fan of the Yankees since the 70's when Reggie Jackson hit 3 HRs in one game against the LA Dodgers in the WS. There is where he got the name Mr. October. I'm a real fan win or lose and I do not have an attitude of superiority. ;) And again there you go with the damn payroll again!!!!!!!!! :shakes head: Yes, NYY has the biggest payroll for 2012, however there are 7 more teams that have a difference of only around $200,000 to $300,000 less on payroll than NYY. And a least three or four of them are not making it this year. And without going to the playoffs you cannot make it to the WS...Duuuuhhhhh!!!:shakes head: NYY might have only one WS in the last 10 yrs which is one more than the O's. :roflpuke2: The whole issue is Consistenty year in and year out like the teams I mentioned before, something the O's have not done in years. Talk about statistics/injuries, etc. and quit crying about payrolls....;) |
Jose, you're just too stubborn to admit that the Orioles are actually good this year without pawning it off on luck.
Sure, they're slumping right now, but they've come a very long way. You probably said the same thing about Tampa the first year they did well. |
I'm still saying that Tampa plays above their ability.
|
Those crazy O's.
Smacked 7 lucking home runs last night, great lucking win. We're headed out to the lucking game tomorrow night against Boston. Sure hope the lucking weather holds up. :icon17: |
Godamn motherfucking piece of **** brewers!!!!

WOW!!!!!! BRAVO, Bragging about beating a last place team, what an accomplishmnet and honor, but I don't hear about losing 4-0 to them the day before   Let see if they can do that against Texas, Detroit, SF, As, NYY, TB, Washington, Cincinnati, etc. where they have quality pitching...not a "Little League" team because that what the Jays pitching looked like last night :bowrofl: |
Quote:
And because I know you will appreciate this, the Orioles are doing it for about 140 million dollars cheaper than the Yankees. :tiphat: |
Wow, did I just see a last place little league looking team smack down the Yankees 6 to nothing. I guess since the Orioles are lucky this just must be Yankee bad luck.
:roflpuke2::roflpuke2: |
^ :bowrofl: :bowrofl: :bowrofl:
Again with the SAME CRAP about the payroll!!!!!!!! :shakes head: What I wanted to say was that they looked like Little League pitching that night, OK! I'm scared now with all your stats, WOW!!!!:rolleyes::rolleyes: By the way, not the first time they are going to lose against the Jays or any other team...Quit twisting what I write. |
Congrats to the O's for clinching a playoff spot today.
