They are in a roll!

Dodgers did the big trade last year with Boston, they have good players but they are lacking in the pitching department. Today they have a Trple A pitcher on the mount.

I think they have lost like 6 or 7 in a row.

Their triple A guy did a nice job. Arrieta just can't be consistent, blew a 4-1 lead with walks. Gotta hope they can come back.

How the Yankees are thriving with an impossibly old, injury-ravaged, no-name roster

Tim Lincecum has been seen jumping for joy after finding out he will not be pitching against Paul Goldschmidt in this series vs. Arizona.

NYY sweep the Jays for a 4-0 Series Win with the replacements! :happydance:

Mariano Rivera 617th Career Save, 9/9 this season.

One more for the Record Books this year!

"Today the New York Yankees became the fifth team in MLB history to beat two winners of the Cy Young Award in the same month (David Price on April 23 and RA Dickey on April 28)"

Haboob 04-28-2013 10:57 PM

Meh, they weren't first so...

:icon17:

Dbacks are undefeated in extra inning and also undefeated on series finales so far.

Our bullpen has cost us so many games (should have swept the Yankees and taken 2/3 from the Giants. :(

Oh well. Kubel is back and gunning people down from LF again. We had some great defensive plays today.

That's not a record or achievement. That's just 2 wins in a month.

Haboob 04-30-2013 08:24 AM

Some bad, bad calls behind the plate cost us the game last night. Gave the Giants extra outs (two borderline strike calls for strike 3 that were called balls, but the same pitches were given to the Giants a half inning later :shakes head:).

Three HRs in the 5th to tie the game, then the wheels came off. :(

We'll get it back tonight. Got home late last night from the game and tonight will be another late night getting home from the game!

I love going to baseball games!

That is your opinion!!!!!

So is not a record or achievement for you... so I bet for you is a fluke that only 5 other teams have accomplished that in MLB History.

I didn't knew you kept the MLB History Books, a Sport Writer at the same time and probably a voting member for the Hall of Fame...

However I qouted that from a Sport Writer, Tough if you don't like it. ;)

They keep records for the darnedest of things though.

"He's the first player to come up to the plate, scratch his *** and adjust himself, then hit a HR."

Wouldn't doubt it if that's in their book too.

Probably, Im not going to waist my time trying to justify History about any team or player. It is what it is!

Is like I believe a Reds' pitcher struck out four in one inning...that is part of MLB History, is not done everyday.

PapoZalsa 04-30-2013 09:10 PM

Another record, achievement, statistic or whatever you want to call it:

"Only 3 active pitchers have 200 wins: Andy Pettitte, Roy Halladay and now Tim Hudson".
