Is it me or does kobe looks like he's getting healthier every game, he was all over the jazz on game 2, blocking shots 8 assist and 30 points.

phelan 05-05-2010 12:30 AM

he looks healthier because it's the fking jazz. they have to send help everytime gasol/bynum/odom gets the ball in the post, and other than AK-47 they have no defensive presence to put on kobe at all. so lots of help defense + cj miles / wes matthews playing d straight up on kobe?

kobe will slaughter the jazz all by himself.

utah..haha!

LA shouldn't have any problems making it to the finals this year.....unless Phoenix can somehow manage to play defense all the while maintaining their offense.....but I highly doubt it

hmmmmm spurs will take it!

now hold on one minute, i know the "jump stop" is completely legal in NCAA/HS rules, is there an NBA rule that classifies that as travelling? I do it all the time in the city league and it doesnt get called, think about it, you get 3 steps per dribble right? wouldnt jump stopping consist of 1?

Correct me if i'm wrong but I think it all depends on where you pick up your dribble. But i don't know NBA always changes it's rules to cater to their superstars.

To me it's simple....the magnitude of the initial jump was ridiculous. It seemed as if he was in full flight and that to come back down made no sense. I've done/seen hopsteps a gazillion times and they never look like that...but at the same time I've never seen an athlete like Lebron either.

If I was reffing I'd call that a travel...but who knows? I think even the fans were a bit stunned bc they had no clue what to think and were expecting a whistle...lol

What Lebron did was legal guys. Taken from the NBA rules

"An offensive player may end his dribble by alighting off of one foot and landing simultaneously on both feet...Note that at this point, the player may not pivot; if he lifts either foot, the ball must be released prior to that foot returning to the floor."

This is an all too familiar scenario that the spurs are in right now...im talking about 2008 western conference semis against the hornets. Yeah we went down 2-0 and then beat them in 7. I say we beat the Suns in 6 and then the Lakers in 7.

And, are you forgeting how many rings we have in recent history??

This is just what im thinking.

And, are YOU forgetting just how old the big three for the spurs are???

I respect TD's game, but dude, that guy is OLD. The only reason they're still sort of hanging around is the sudden resurgence of Tony Parker, who had extended rest due to injury in the late part of the second season.

TD has had sporadic games where he shows "he's still got it", but the next outing he just looks tired.

In fact, it's really sad to see all of the game's greats age. No more Kobe, Timmy, Garnett, Pierce...well, actually, Pierce is a f*cking c*nt douchebag and not a basketball great, never mind.

:icon18: agreed

Red370 05-08-2010 09:34 AM

so basically the Celtics were shat upon last night, KJ was ice cold. And what he said in the interview was right, they started the game with a sense of urgency, which is more than theyve done all season, hence the dismantling that took place.

wishihadnav 05-09-2010 05:09 PM

Go lakers!

wishihadnav 05-09-2010 05:32 PM

Hmmm 2-2 boston...what will happen??..haha

ct63084 05-09-2010 05:51 PM

Damn lebron had an awesome game on game 3 but on game 4 he disappeared on the 4th seemed like he didn't want the ball at the end and just gave up.
