Lakers will be playing against 8 tonight...they will get no calls so they need to be xtra clean tonight..

zman1910 06-11-2010 01:17 AM

Celtics bench kicked your a$$e$ tonight. The Celtics, IMO, are the epitome of team basketball. I don't give a crap who wins but this Celtics team is stacked and can obviously win in a variety of ways. That's just my unbiased observation....

LA must feel like $hit right now. I don't even remember seeing Garnett, Pierce, or Rondo in the 2nd half.

tbonesteak 06-11-2010 11:34 AM

^^ wow surprisingly, i agree 100% even as a true celtics hater.

funny how the haters seem to just to magically appear in this thread when the Lakers lose..Lakers will win game 5..i'll even bet u $$$..haha

Rogue Z 06-11-2010 12:44 PM

its cool cuz the lakers are going to take the next two

Nick911sc 06-11-2010 12:51 PM

Neither the Celtics or the Lakers were my picks for the playoffs. I'm hoping the Celtics win just because I'm not a huge Lakers fan in general. The Celtics cannot match the Lakers on an individual skill level, but they play phenomenal as a team. Last nights game was superb but I know deep down in my heart it's going to take more than just what happened last night to close out the series against LA. Either way it's been a much better series than I thought!

Jesus Shuttlesworth ftw

wishihadnav 06-11-2010 12:59 PM

thats what im bettin on...Lakers had a bad 4th lastnight..it happens...sunday's game is crucial.

they didn't play phenominal lastnight...baby and nate had a good 4th and the Lakers were tired..they got out worked..that's it..

Nick911sc 06-11-2010 01:03 PM

I consider out working a better team phenomenal

Winning the game isn't about who has the better team. It's about getting an orange basketball through a cylindrical goal.

wishihadnav 06-11-2010 01:06 PM

hahaha...boston is not phenomenal..im glad you understand the concept of scorings points...remember Boston suppose to win these games at home right?..lets see what happens on Sunday shall we..

Nick911sc 06-11-2010 01:10 PM

I might be cheering for the Celtics. But I have little doubt that the Lakers will win the ring.

wishihadnav 06-11-2010 01:15 PM

yeah Phil will adjust the squad for game 5..Bynum should be able to give mins..n we step on their necks this time.

Wicked_G 06-11-2010 01:15 PM

I've been on this thread since the very beginning. I am a hater of both teams equally. I'm just calling it like it is. The Celtics haven't played their best bball yet. One of these games... the Celtics are gonna get production from every one of their starters and it's not gonna look good...much like 2008 when they won by 37 some odd points in the closing game.

Just cause you talk like LA is gonna win doesn't mean they actually will. You can bet me all the $$ you want..I'm not much of a gambler anyhow. That's just your biased ego coming out....which is understandable. I suspect most fans are like that of their respective teams.

Look at it this way. The Lakers had a pretty good game last night. Kobe and Pau did what they normally do. I could even argue they got the majority of whistles to go their way. The Celtics, on the other hand, had a lousy game and still managed to pull off the win. I'm just saying the Celtics are due for a game where they are clicking on all cylinders and it's not gonna be pretty for LA.

Then again I could be 100% wrong as well. Maybe their age will catch up to them as Chuck was saying all season.

PapoZalsa 06-11-2010 08:44 PM

I'm really surprise the Celtics have pull this up, becuase they have been playing terrible throughout the series except for game #2.

Oh c'mon, Puke Walton and Space Cadet was the Laker's 3rd/4th option back in 08. Plus, it's not like Lakers are the playing their best bball this series either, Bynum's knees are getting worse and Lamar has yet to show up.

Say what you will but they still made it out of the Western conference with your so called Puke Walton and Space Cadet. Not to mention they were still the favorites to win it all.

I'm not saying the Celts will most definitely win. I'm just saying they have a really great shot at winning the whole thing...again.

wishihadnav 06-12-2010 10:34 PM

I'll go ahead and make a prediction because I'm not scared to be wrong..Lakers will take game 5..they're the better team imo

wishihadnav 06-13-2010 03:19 PM

Come on Lakers!!

PapoZalsa 06-13-2010 09:00 PM

I don't know how in the hell the Celtics are winning tonight game with all those turnovers!

They don't take advantage of the situation, they could be winning for much more than 10 points in the 3rd Qtr....:stirthepot:

+1 million

wishihadnav 06-13-2010 10:11 PM

haha..lost money on this one..no big its coming back home..let's see what happens on tues..

zman1910 06-13-2010 10:26 PM

Dude Kobe was ridiculous tonight.....unfortunately he was the only one....very reminiscent of his years after Shaq.

You guys need someone like Trevor Ariza back big time. Artest's defense was overrated....especially since he has no offensive skills

Nick911sc 06-13-2010 10:27 PM

You can always count on Artest....to blow the game for you.

wishihadnav 06-13-2010 10:30 PM

NY haters..unfortunately u guys havnt had a team since ewing..20yrs ago..still didn't get a ring..u guys suck!!..hahah!!

Nick911sc 06-13-2010 10:33 PM

I don't mind the hate. I know the knicks suck. Nothing new there. They'll make their way around eventually...Or we'll see the new Brooklyn team hopefully doing something good.

wishihadnav 06-13-2010 10:34 PM

Two guys from NY praising Boston...this is ridiculous..

wishihadnav 06-13-2010 10:40 PM

I'm tempted to call my friends from NY n tell them I have a couple guys here praising Boston...hahaha!!

wishihadnav 06-13-2010 11:04 PM

Honestly..I have family n friends in NY n Jersey that would kick my *** if i said anything remotely positive about Boston..haha..I'm serious.

I haven't even been here that long....only here bc of my job. I come from a state that doesn't even have an NBA team..lol. It would be nice if NY could get something going though.

I'm also in Long Island:tup:

wishihadnav 06-14-2010 12:11 AM
