I know the game isn't over yet, but how about Boise State. My year would be complete if Penn State could pull off an upset over Bama next week.

cow 09-03-2011 10:40 PM

Yay. I'll be drinking we Abita Amber.

Good game, Tin. I'm looking forward to being able to co-root for Oregon again.

Pushing_Tin 09-03-2011 11:19 PM

lol you bastards. Not sure WTF happened to us tonight, but good game! PM me your paypal and the money for some tasty brews will be on the way! Looking forward to this year!!

cow 09-04-2011 09:17 AM

The "SEC speed" is thrown about a lot, but it really seemed to show last night. A great example was that punt fielded inside Oregon's ten-- the returner thought he could go backwards & outrun everyone. He was unfortunately very wrong.

There were little examples like that all night, but that moment was the best illustration.

Also, ygpm.

ClemsonWill 10-03-2011 12:35 PM

How about those Clemson Tigers!!!!!!!!!!

cow 10-03-2011 01:39 PM

For Clemson, so far, so good.

Will, do you by chance have a clip of that (I think) tight end falling over for the false start penalty? I heard it was quite funny but can't find it.

dennis26 10-18-2011 07:35 PM

At this point in the season it looks as if the SEC is over rated. There is only two top notch teams Alabama and LSU. All the others are just average.

cow 11-03-2011 02:59 PM

Anyone else still here? Tin?

Go big BLUE!!

Pushing_Tin 11-04-2011 01:30 AM

I'm back bitches! Can't wait for the LSU v Tide game! Geaux Tigers! Maybe we'll get a Ducks LSU rematch!

cow 11-04-2011 03:51 PM

That would be nice. We'd have to up our stakes, though!

I'm nervous about tomorrow. I've felt confident going into every game this year-- I think LSU is slightly better, but I don't have a feeling one way or the other.

Red__Zed 11-04-2011 03:55 PM

Gonna be a tough game being in t-town

Rooster89 11-04-2011 04:18 PM

Wisconsin was supposed to win it all this year.....the sour disappoint i taste is now going to haunt my palette for forever!

LOL, congrats on the Maaco bowl! :ugh2:

dennis26 11-05-2011 12:13 PM

Have to go with LSU. After hearing so much about defense wouldn't it be great to see a high scoring game.

jikhead 11-06-2011 12:03 AM

Good game tonight and I expected LSU to win. I didn't get to watch much, as I was matching my Hogs. Can't wait for for Thanksgiving matchup. I expect LSU to win, but our passing game might be the one team to give their defense some fits.

Skeeterbop 11-06-2011 12:50 AM

I would say the game was pretty good. Alabama definitely have nobody but themselves to blame for this loss. You can't win a defensive struggle like this when you miss 2 field goals and have a third blocked.

Pushing_Tin 11-06-2011 01:52 AM

Good games today, OK State was lucky to hang on. Big game next week is my Ducks vs Stanford.

In retrospect, I kind of look at the game as the two teams being evenly matched across the board except for special teams-- LSU had the slight advantage & that was enough to separate the teams.

I really enjoyed that game & this season as a whole. I've never seen an LSU team this good-- it's a great feeling (thus far-- there's a lot of football to be played).

Lemers 11-06-2011 10:58 PM

That game justified a rematch in the BCS championship game.

I would not watch it, maybe they'll play to a 0-0 tie next time. Stanford and OSU should stay ahead of Bama in the rankings if they go undefeated.

Lemers 11-07-2011 10:27 AM

I'm sure everyone wants to give Andrew luck a crack at the championship.

cow 11-07-2011 10:40 AM

There's still so much football left to be played. I try not to look any farther ahead than the next game (Western Kentucky-- so maybe Ole Miss after that).

dennis26 11-07-2011 07:52 PM

Sabin lost the game for Bama. The 5 million $ coach was out done by Myles. A rematch would not be fair to LSU. Stanford doesn't stand a chance aganist LSU.

Skeeterbop 11-08-2011 06:17 PM

I honestly think that game decided the National championship. You could put LSU and Alabama up against anyone in the country and more than likely they would win.

kellyefields 11-08-2011 06:24 PM

i personally would like to see the lsu bama matchup in the national championship game. Just look at the other options. Stanford is outclassed by oregon, OSU will falter to OU maybe even to Texas Tech, and then there is Bosie If they were to play a tougher schedule I would say give them a shot but they just have not shown me anything yet.

Hands down the best two teams is LSU and Bama.

cow 11-08-2011 06:24 PM

While that's true on paper, plenty of seemingly unstoppable juggernauts have stumbled.

Lemers 11-08-2011 06:30 PM

I wouldn't put Texas Tech in that group. I know they beat Oaklahoma and all but really. Texas who lost horribly to Oaklahoma beat Tech. I truly believe the Oaklahoma underestimated tech and was preparing for the following game.

the thing with tech is that they play harder when it comes to a team ranked in the top 3 and having the opportunity to ruin OSU's shot at a title they have nothing to loose and everything to gain.

Lemers 11-08-2011 07:54 PM

Now nobody will underestimate Tech and they will be fully prepared.

Where the hell is everybody? OK State kicked azz today. My prediction for Ducks vs Stanford.

Standford 21 Ducks 17.

Skeeterbop 11-12-2011 04:24 PM

watching the Michigan game and enjoying it so far.

Pushing_Tin 11-12-2011 06:46 PM

Bahahahaa that's it for Boise State!
