Formula-1 2019

Well tomorrow we finally start to get a look at what the new cars will look like.
Haas will be the first to launch their car. We only have a little over 35 days till the first race, that being the Australia Grand Prix.

You mean COTA. Last year was the first year that my wife and I have not been to the F1 race. I would be out there for the whole week when IMSA and the WEC was racing here.

2 years ago I wanted to see f1 at Texas . I saw some u tube vids of different corners but it seemed tough to see a lot of the track. Just wondering if it was worth the trip or just watch on tv

Like I have told a lot of people, if you have never been to a race, go! Watching it on TV does not do it justice as seeing it in person. At COTA, there are a lot of great places to watch the race. Turn 15 you can see the cars come off the back straight and go into the infield section. Also turn 3, the S's. With a general admission ticket you can move all over the track to all of the general admission sections.

Yawn..........more of the same for 2019. Wonder how many parade races will Lewis/Mercedes need to win the championship this year?

Everyone is catching up to Mercedes, last year wasn’t as big of a blowout as the previous few years. Ferrari was looking really good first half of the season and it was pretty exciting, hopefully it will get better this year.

People whine about Lewis but he can drive and he can make tires last like no other. Not like force India clowns how many times did they smash into each other. Ferrari he thinks he is better then he is and over drives. We will see this year

Whos second man for Vettel?

Raikkonen went where?

I hope Red Bull will do a better fight with Mercedes-Benz this year.

Lost my faith with Ferrari. I dont know if the new race director can shape up things.

Vettel's team mate is Charles Leclerc a rooky. Raikkonen went to Alfa Romeo Racing formally Sauber. This is the team he started his F1 career with.

Are you frickin' kidding me? How do you miss a paperwork deadline on something like this?

"F1 races in Austin, Mexico City hitting financial rough patches
AUSTIN, Texas — Two of Formula One’s three races in North America are facing financial issues that are raising concern about their future.
Organizers of the U.S. Grand Prix won’t get at least $20 million from the state of Texas for the 2018 race after missing a paperwork deadline set by state law. And new questions lurk about the future of the Mexican Grand Prix after the country’s new president suggested the government may not spend on the race like it has the last four years.
Both races have been popular with drivers and fans, and have enjoyed key dates on the F1 calendar. Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton clinched season championships in Texas in 2015 and in Mexico City in 2017 and 2018.
Officials in Formula One and at the Circuit of the Americas, host of the U.S. Grand Prix, did not immediately respond to requests for comment Wednesday."

Don't worry, the F1 race will go on here in Austin. There is too much at stake for it not to happen. They will come up the Money.

I believe Leclerc's going to be the next big thing...

He is quick by showing how far ahead than his teammate last year in the average Sauber.

And he also shows his humbleness by the way he speaks and how little incident he had on the track.

Secretive or just lame? I get there's too much at stake to get distracted but come on.
