Pacquiao!!!! Pacquiao!!!! Pacquiao!!!! Pacquiao!!!! Pacquiao!!!! Pacquiao!!!! Pacquiao!!!!

I think Mayweather's the better boxer, by a fairly wide margin, and could win if he wanted to, but something's smelled fishy about Bob Aram and this whole matchup since way back when, so I'm gonna say Mayweather loses the fight to set up an even bigger paying rematch.
Now if that's not the case, no way Pac wins. Mayweather is such a great fighter because nobody can outbox/ outscore him, but he's also not going to let you get close enough to knock him out. The only way to a win against him is by knockout. So you have to make the risky choice to chase a knockout, or go with the almost surefire failing plan to try to beat him at his own game, which I'm highly doubtful happens. |

Lol... When you said wide margin? You werejoking right? |
It's such a shame this fight didn't happen years ago when Mayweather first started ducking Manny. THAT would have been an epic fight. This is one last cash-in before Mayweather quits.
|
Ok to clarify- boxer, not fighter. Misspoke. The better fighter would be pac.
Mayweather's strategy has been the same for years, and, as is obvious by his record, has worked to perfection. Win by all objective measurements (punch stats), and dare the judges to give you the loss based on the subjective data (even if the subjective stuff, like who's actually winning the fight) is right. If you're sitting in the judges' chair, and the compubox numbers are coming back that Floyd's landed punch to getting hit ratio is over 3:1 (Floyd's career stats) while Pac's is only a little over 1:1 (Pac's current career stats), you've got to feel like you're in a pretty tight spot even if your eyes are telling you otherwise. It's not pretty, it doesn't always yield the correct decision, but it's pretty hard to question who's the better "boxer". |

When you say wide margin I was thinking Floyd's mouth. |
I want Pacquiao to win but I think Mayweather will prevail...:(

I think people have confused the poll for who they want to win, not who will actually win. The last time we saw Manny, wasn't he face down on the mat taking a nap?

On the flip side, Pac is one of the best offensive boxers... that's why you think he is a better "fighter" (which also an incorrect statement)... in offensive boxing attributes I think Pac has mayweather edged out... The correct statement is that Mayweather's style of boxing is way less riskier than Pac's style is... more importantly, it is easier to score points being a defensive boxer than being offensive especially at Mayweather's skill level... SO, to generalize that one is a better boxer than the other is just wrong... |

But it's disappointing that you referred back to the marquez fight the last time you saw manny fight... at least do yourself a favor and watch the Bradley/Pac 2...it's free on youtube on HBO's channel... that was one hell of a fight, and will make you think about Pac's chin again since you are referring back at pac taking a nap... |
