SPL Parts Looking For 370Z - Austin, TX

SPL Parts is looking for a 370Z to test fit camber adjustable front upper control arms!

They will only need your car for a few hours the first go round for a measuring session. They will need it a second time as well when the arms are almost complete. In return you will get a generous discount off of a set for your car.

If you are interested, please contact SPL Parts directly at 1-866-SPLPART

I am sure they will need it for a solid few weeks straight, but no harm in calling them and asking.

BLUESLATE 01-15-2010 03:46 AM

I am really hoping these will also fit on G37 sedans/coupes. I have been waiting for SPL front adjustable control arms forever!

vipor 01-15-2010 08:31 AM

I would but mine is my DD. it'd be worth a weekend to help out and learn some shiz, but i can't realistically leave the car. the 3 hour drive is fun too, got hella flashed the last time on my way back

theDreamer 01-15-2010 09:34 AM

Ah, well a few weeks I might not be able to do, will try to get some of the Austin guys in here to look at this and help.

M.Bonanni 01-15-2010 10:38 AM

Please spread the word! The community is in desperate need! The SPCs just aren't cutting it. :)

LiquidZ 01-24-2010 12:26 AM

Bump. I would like some SPL stuffs.

BLUESLATE 01-24-2010 01:19 AM

Just found out the rear camber, toe, and traction arms are same between V36 and Z34. I'm excited to see the front suspension parts!

They're going to need more than a day. They will need a car for probably around 1-2 weeks.

vipor 01-28-2010 10:47 AM

Yeah that's what screws me. Wish I had another car, I'd love to help out a shop, the community, and myself all at the same time

phelan 01-28-2010 11:00 AM

I would be all over this if they were in California.

LiquidZ 02-09-2010 01:36 PM

Bump

BLUESLATE 02-09-2010 03:01 PM

Buuuuuuuump!! Plz! Someone!!!!

B1nks 02-09-2010 03:28 PM

I just called them and left a msg but if this were to happen they would get a mon-fri and that's it. That's all I could spare.you're right about SPC not cutting it.

BLUESLATE 02-09-2010 03:32 PM

^Thanks for doing this B1nks!!

B1nks 02-09-2010 07:03 PM

They got back to me and I explained to them that they could have my car but they think they already have a local one and will call me back if they want to use mine. We'll see.

M.Bonanni 02-09-2010 07:11 PM

oh thank god...

Thanks B1nks! At least we know now that one way or another SPL Parts front control arms should be coming soon!

Zat_Zuma 02-09-2010 09:33 PM

Waiting patiently too :tiphat:

B1nks 02-10-2010 09:49 AM

Yeah he said he wasn't gonna do the upper arms anymore but is doing lower fronts. Something about not enough room or something..don't quote that, I was having trouble hearing the reason why.

Mike 02-10-2010 10:29 AM

can't wait either, my alignment shop (which does a lot of race/track day cars) told me I defnitely need adjustable front camber, and stay away from kinetix at all costs, plus didn't really like the other choice thats out their now. He did love SPLs 350z parts though.

M.Bonanni 02-10-2010 10:33 AM

Lower fronts would be just fine as well! Technically, if someone comes out with some upper fronts that actually hold your camber then, paired with the SPL lowers, you could probably widen your track width a little too. :D

That's a great idea! ;)

B1nks 02-10-2010 08:27 PM

he said it will adjust camber/caster, so..

B1nks 02-12-2010 07:35 PM

wish there was an update for this. Seems like it kind of died.

theDreamer 02-12-2010 07:36 PM

Unfortunately the company is not on the boards and we have no idea who brought in the Z for test work, or I would be bugging them. Best bet might just to call once a week and try to get updates from them.

B1nks 02-22-2010 07:56 PM

SOMEONE GET AN UPDATE ON THIS ! BONANNI, YOU'RE IN CHARGE ! whoa..caps lock is BEAST ! haha sry but it's staying like that.

I know it is an old thread but did you ever find anyone in Austin?

M.Bonanni 11-11-2010 08:45 PM

I don't think so, but I haven't talked to SPL in a while so I am not 100% sure. Give them a call!

shoopajae10 03-28-2011 07:09 PM

I know this is an old thread but I didnt want to start a new one.

Any updates on spl front camber kit? I've been waiting forever for them to come out with one. I was told by many 350z owners that they chose spl over spc front camber because of overall quality.

they said the rears you could go with either spl or spcs..

also, anyone that is currently using spc rear and/or front camber kit having any problems? or any good results?

Ron 03-28-2011 11:45 PM

we should all email SPL so that they can see the demand that exists for the front arms, I already did :)
