Cars and Coffee Irvine - March 9th
 

Back my popular demand: Cars and Coffee in Irvine on March 9th!!

We meet at the Starbucks at 6:20 leaving promptly at 6:30 for C&C. We'll hang out there until 8am and then leave for Ortega and food at The Lookout.

Starbucks is at 38 Prism, tucked away in an apartment complex.
C&C is at 7905 Gateway Blvd.

We had about 10 Z's last time, hopefully we can get a few more. :tup:

Man I could not live without Ketchup chips, actually I noticed that other than Doritos you guys have really shitty chip choices. I do wish we had Carls Jr. up here though, that place is amazing. haha

Since we can't park in the main lot anymore I'm wondering if you guys want to meet at the Starbucks thats off Ortega at 7am instead of going to C&C.

BeemaaZ was there this weekend and was told only cars 1999 and older can park in the lot (or $100k plus). So we'd have to park in the garage :shakes head:

Just an info for us here peeps!

I have gone to c&c twice already and twice I have been denied to enter the area. Both times were at pretty early at 630am. SUCKS! They say they only accept vintage sports cars and exotics. My Nismo was in tears outside the parking lot. lol

I go to supercar sunday and sometimes you can park next to $100K+ super car. 3/3 is Lambo Day.

And those times I was there, always see some silly cars that shouldn't be there at all.

I have never parked in the parking lot but I did have a chance one time I was there and Infiniti had their F1 car. I was in the IPL on that trip. Since my car is stock I still parked in over at the garage.


That stuff is also why I like the smaller C&C's like the one in Vegas.

They are getting pretty crowded lately. I don't mind the exotics but the vintage not so much.

That's seriously fed up. I've never been turned away like that. But they probably do that on days where they know a large group or groups of particular cars are coming. I've heard that if you wanna organize a largish group of cars the thing to do is get on their message board and ask.

I talked to a guy Greg on the C&C forums and he said that we'll just have to roll in and ask John or Linda about the parking situation. He said he can't give out their contact information. He didn't confirm that we can or can't park in the main lot but from what I'm hearing we will be turned away.

Also got a very nice message on those forums from some ahole who calls himself Notorious...

"So, honest question, knowing what you know about CnC, what purpose would it serve to park a bunch of mass produced Japanese cars which are relatively cheap and definitely not exotic or classic in the display area meant for cars which are expensive and exotic or old and classic?"

Needless to say I didn't respond.

I suggest we meet at Starbucks 27211 Ortega Hwy E San Juan Capistrano at 7am and hang there for a bit and then run Ortega and get breakfast. Thoughts?

So the question still stands, do we roll in and take the chance of being turned around or...do we say f@ck it and hit the 74, right from the start?

Lots of "OLD and classic" at C & C are POS comparing to Supercar Sunday. My guess is Notrious got one of the "OLD" POS. :rofl2:
