sounds like a good deal everyone. you usually only get like 3-4 sessions. the disc with your pics is usually like $60 also.

Speed district sounds tempting!

Anyone going to one of the events at WSIR? One is with speed ventures at big willow and the other is with SoCal hpde at SoW, or is everyone waiting to attend events at the end of the month?

I have no tires at the moment......
Looking for 275/35/19 all around hankook rs3 or nt01, nt05... can't find a great deal yet... my tire hook up can only order a ton of sets at once...

Stay away from NT05, NT01 are great, so are RA1, R888, etc. or you could just get Hoosier R6, hankook TD, or some other form of race tire :p

Are you going to any of them?

to run r888 or TD etc, they are too slick, need to run a VERY stiff suspension, my springs I have are not enough at the moment to really use those tires. That's why I prefer the RS3, or Nt01, ad08, or similar.... 140 thread wear or 200....

NT01 are 100TW - I know people that run Hoosier A6 on stock suspension. But between RS3, NT05 and NT01 I'd choose NT01, it's gonna be the fastest tire without a doubt.

NT01 do not come in 19" and I agree with Martin that they are too much tire for daily/HPDE fun track car. NT05 and RS3 are the way to go.

They do not, only goes up to 18". Z1 Star Spec would be a downgrade from the RS3/NT-05 anyway.

Yes, I am planning on it. Leaning towards Big Willow ATM, but going both CW and CCW on SoW for 80 bucks is tempting too.

Easy don't go to SOW!! Sow is my least favorite track!!!!

I don't just go cause it's cheap lol, tires, car maintenance is WAY more than entrance free !!

Watch your temps if it's near 100° Ryan, that pesky, innocuous sounding limp mode kicks in somewhere after the oil gauge goes past 260° (technically 265° but it's a Nissan gauge) and when the engine mgmt drops revs instantly to 3500 and the wheels lock there are several places on Big I would not want to be..
