I actually ran in the morning, then 2 runs at night and left..... I had no tires going in that day so was sliding everywhere. I track my Z a lot so I post here some dates etc of when we are going. There are usually a few Z's at the track with us.

I will definitely be out there with you all, but I have to break in the car first. Keep me posted on dates so I can go when the Z/G crowd goes.

I saw another silver NISMO there. I think the driver's name is Paul (could be wrong).

martin82 07-10-2012 11:54 PM

check back here, but I might be tracking much until it cools down again, really trying to get my times down......... I tracked my 12 around 200 miles lol.

Picked up a set of recaro pole position last night, black leather with yellow stitching and schroth harnesses, bad pic but get the idea.....

03Z33 07-16-2012 02:19 PM

Bride FX-Type rails are probably the lowest "bolt-on" solution without slider:

products

N161FX & N162FX are the part numbers left and right.

Pole position is a pretty wide seat, you may need to go with the Recaro, Sparco or Bride XL/Wide brackets with sliders. Or just drive down to Wedge and get some custom ones made.

martin82 07-16-2012 03:00 PM

Thanks Jeff, I'll probably just call Wedge and pick their brains or something.

Jason's Z has recaro pole position also and they fit fine

I love the way they left that beached M3 out there for 3 sessions and then it sat at the hot pit entrance like one of those "Don't Drink and Drive" displays for the rest of the day. Don't Dork and Drive, M3 Dorks!

DLo 08-23-2012 12:08 AM

Anyone capture video from Buttonwillow?

SE5spd 08-23-2012 03:01 AM

met some socal 370z guys tonight, people that track..I was told socal 370z people actually go to the track :) Ive tried and tried but it seems socal 350z guys are very minimum with HPDE. Soooooooooooo whens the next track day! :D

threeseventy 08-23-2012 03:20 AM

Here's the only vid of Sunday so far: our friend in a tuned M3 followed for a while after I gave Martin a point-by (:40) and I held him off pretty well until my brakes went thermonuclear and I went too deep into the last turn: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxHIL...ature=youtu.be

We'll probably track again in about a month, right now its so hot the cars get a little unhappy.. I still have a CEL from my Stillen Cats getting mad during third session. Once it's 85° or less there will be multiple monthly track days attended by the regulars. We're all looking forward to the fuel starvation control release in the coming weeks, see it and sign up for one here and ignore the dipsh*ttery if you can. Some people were brought up with strange ideas of what is appropriate..

martin82 08-23-2012 03:46 AM

I'll process the video sometime this week got 1 decent session in

Ok cool, I'm thinking of doing 9-15/16 weekend at buttonwillow with NCRC (Northern California Racing Club - Schedule of Events) it's $99 a day of anyone's down?

Saturday CW1
Sunday CCW1

martin82 08-23-2012 03:22 PM

nice, most of my buddies only run cw13 since this is the time attack configuration, I will be running on September 30 with Speed District.

Oct 6 & 7 with Speed Ventures at Fontana (probably 6th for me)
Oct 13, Big Willow w Extreme Speed (I can prob get u a discount for ur first time with them)

I think I'm all tracked out through oct with the schedule above...

SE5spd 08-23-2012 03:25 PM

What do you think is more fun? AAA or WSIR or BW?

martin82 08-23-2012 04:24 PM

for me it goes big willow (high speed turns), button willow, AAA

for majority is button, AAA, WSIR....

SE5spd 08-23-2012 05:33 PM

I'm down for big willow.

martin82 08-23-2012 06:17 PM

Here is my friend's even for button on Sep 30:
Speed District hosts Open Track Day at Buttonwillow Raceway on September 30, 2012 - Speed District

$210 but it will be under 50 cars usually, includes timing, and a $60-70 photography CD of all ur pics, usually over 30...

brucelidat 08-23-2012 08:40 PM

martin82 08-23-2012 08:46 PM
