Nope. Never had a problem with my 350, either. But it's definitely important to get a good tinting job. If it bubbles up, there's a good chance that it might catch on the windows. But if you go to a reputable establishment, you shouldn't have a problem. I got mine at UltimateShield in Anaheim.

Only reason why I ask is because the 370z automatically rolls the window down 1" when the door is opened.

No problem at all. I had tint installed on my original 350 and now on my 370. I followed the standard "no rolling down the windows for 3 days" mantra after having it installed, but the little auto-drop in the window has never had an impact on my tint (or anyone else's Z that I know of).

I've used XLNT Tint in Anaheim on a previous car, and they did a very good job. They supposedly do VentureShield as well, but I've never used them before for it, so I can't comment on that.

I'd like to add another recommendation for the guys at:
Perfect Window Tint 3071 S. Harbor Blvd. Santa Ana, CA 92704 Give Sal a call: 714 549 2200. He does AWESOME work. I got Huper Optik 40% all around. I'm planning to do the windshield in 60% in a few weeks or so. His customer service is top notch as well. I finished the movie "Transporter 3" while waiting for the job to get done. He has a lounge with a very nice screen, comfy couches, and cable TV. |
^I recommended the same shop. Do you mind telling how much it cost?
