We will figure that out as soon as we possibly can since I don't want to mess you up in any way. Is Monday too late for making a decision? That would give a clearer picture of the weather forecast but I know you have plans.

christian370z 03-12-2011 05:44 PM

Well, it is looking more and more certain that next weekend will be full of rain. At this point, do you guys feel it would be best to move the Ojai Cruise to Saturday the 26th? From what I have gathered, the roads around Ojai are not roads that you want to travel when there is a chance of rain unless you like river crossings haha.

Jamaica 03-12-2011 06:23 PM

Don't make any decision until Monday. Weather changes

ncheung85 03-12-2011 07:43 PM

Hey christian. I'm not going to make this one. The shop didn't give me an exact date on when my car is ready but I was told it will be ready within 2 weeks.

xdeslitx 03-12-2011 08:31 PM

Good to see that your car is almost fixed

As long as I know before Tuesday the final decision it will be ok. But I will need to let Lou know.

We will make a decision on Monday, I have you at the forefront of that choice as I know you aren't exactly local haha.

Ok but also, if we move the date, my install will get moved to next week also, will you still be able to stop by for pick up/install?

christian370z 03-13-2011 04:16 AM

Yep, I should still be able to do it regardless of whether it gets moved or not. Do you have pictures of the wheels by chance?

ncheung85 03-13-2011 11:30 AM

If the wheels and the powdercoating came out good, I will have them on at the next monthly meet.

They are F14s in flat black. :excited:

That would be awesome if you could, I have taken a number of pictures of your car in the meets but for some reason never got clear shots of the wheels haha. Some pictures of the wheels and tire tread would be amazing!

So sweet, those are one of my favorite wheels on the 370z. Light, strong, reasonably priced, and look great.

Weather predictions are still holding out at 30% chance of precipitation in both Ojai and Pine Mountain Club (community up where we will be in the mountains). The only fun part is that there is a slight chance of snow flurries up there lol.

A decision will be made by 5pm this evening but as it stands, I vote yes to hold the cruise as planned.

Ok, if you wanna make the vote public, why not throw on a poll as well? To get the general opinion...?

But yeah, I'm down for whichever weekend.

What happens when you say yes, then in 2 days it goes to 60% will you still say yes, or are you gonna back out, cause I won't be able to come back to back weekends, so if you say yes now you're saying yes Sat too. :icon17:

phelan 03-14-2011 04:12 PM

According to Wetsand.com a storm will be moving into the area from the North late Friday early Saturday. The storm will be bringing huge surf and wind/cold temperatures.

The storm will pretty much be focused directly where we are planning to drive up to since there is a jet stream over the Los Angeles basin that should keep the rain out.

In other words we would be driving directly into the storm :icon17:
