what is socal to you? LA? SD? OC?... in sd rent usually starts @ 1k a month and that is generally without a garage and anywhere from 600-900 sq ft;

in sd rent usually starts @ 1k a month and that is generally without a garage and anywhere from 600-900 sq ft; 1 bedroom or a studio. I had a apartment in Rancho San Diego, it is a bit east ~20 mi from beach gated and had a garage for ~1350 before bills. Cable, Internet, Elec, Water, etc... 1000 sqft though.

I was thinking LA. I don't really care about commuting, yet. My budget is apparently very tight from what people are writing. I am by myself so I just need a studio apartment.
