so after we meet up at 7 and do our runs, when is our expected time to all go home?

tradervic 10-20-2010 07:49 AM

I'm in. And it's my birthday. And I can fly if I want to.

Last time, we were out on the road roughly 1 hour and 45 minutes including all the cool down stops and my embarrassing gaffes. I see it being an hour and a half if we are going at a good clip and stop for a few cool downs.

Nice Vic! Glad to see you can make it, hope it is not too much of a relaxing drive compared to your normal pace. :)

Weather looks promising with low 60s for the morning time with no rain...

Hi, guys and gals.

Dont mean to poop on your drive but this is what happened last weekend

YouTube - Car Crashes into Three Motorcycles

luckily no one was riding or standing there , but one bike was written off and other 2 were minor damaged.

and the GTO forum where the troll is located.

The thing is your going to be planning a drive in an area that has a lot of the residence complaing to the CHP and the local LA County Sheriffs, so that is what you will be dealing with and the high chance of a "yellow time slips" from those LEO's. Btw , it will be dry on this upcoming weekend but a lot forget there are always loose rocks ready to come down at any time and the significant rains do that.

christian370z 10-20-2010 02:04 PM

The Mulholland stretch is not the place we would go fast on, it is just a way to get to the more technical areas on the north side of Kanan. Thanks for the heads up though, always sad to see a couple morons ruin a good thing for everyone.

amusingly, on that gto website, instead of **** they filter using 'smurf'. that's brilliant. AK should do that here too.

with that said, i'm still suspicious of the rain. i'm out until i see some sunlight.

i might have to agree with you on this one Andrew.

I like that stretch of road early in the morning, but usually avoid it due to popo.

christian370z 10-20-2010 07:01 PM

There is a 10% chance of rain, it is hopefully very unlikely to rain. It is funny how the two Amuse guys don't want to get their cars wet, come on Andrew/Phelan!
