i'm currently shopping for a decent starter recurve bow, since all the kyudo dojos in my area closed

i'll never shoot a yumi now lol

what would you use though? cause the broken piece is made out of plastic

it depends because i don't even know what the part is. i can probably use some composite material we have at the factory though.

i dont really know how other recurves are but mines a 3-piece and the broken piece is what connects the middle to the top (or bottom) part

nope the middle part is still intact...its a separate piece that you screw in to connect the riser to the limbs
