This works for me. :tup:

SgtGoldy 08-22-2013 11:32 AM

Car went into Limp Mode (aka Safe Mode) this morning. Don't know why, but I might not show up this time either :/

Waiz 08-22-2013 04:00 PM

See everyone next weekend, Saturday August 31st!

Limp mode can mean alot of things, you should be able to figure it out by next week (hopefully) :)

Will be there definitely this time around been busy trying to get swift or eibach to get on the ball with coming out with some aftermarket parts for the note.Also waizz you wouldn't happen to know any shops that could figure out what ssr rims will fit on the note would you? Been looking at tire rack but so far their selection is pretty lacking.

Suited rims for Nissan Note

Bolt pattern 4x100
Diameter: 14'' - 16'';
Width (inches): 5 - 7;
Offset (mm): 35 - 45.

Nissan Note ‐ Correct Wheel sizes, PCD, Offset and Rims specs ‐ Wheel-Size.com

i cannot confirm the validity of this information.

Give Corner3 a call, they can measure it exactly and see how aggressive you can go, given the specs posted above you should be able to run the same wheels that I am running on my Fit

Looking forward to seeing your Note in person Mike!

lol, funny thing is i was thinking of giving them a call earlier this afternoon after i posted up, but with the way my work schedule is kinda makes it hard to get in some time to swing by their place. mostly im just wanting to get rid of the huge wheel gap that for some reason nissan likes to put on alot of their cars and was thinking of going up to a 17 as that's the lowest rim size that i could find pilot super sports in. so far from looking at tire racks website i've found that they offer up to 18's for the note with an 7.5" width so im assuming there's alot of room to play with when it comes to rim sizes on the Note, but we'll see i guess when i get time to swing by corner3...who knows though i may end up sticking with 16's as they do fit pretty well, it just needs a drop is all :D

We can talk more at the meet but I would not go larger than 17", hardly any Fit owners go larger than 17's and most stick to 16's

I am running 16x7 +42 front and 16x7 +35 rear (after a 5mm spacer) which is more than enough to fill the wheel gap after my Tanabe springs

Yeahhhh... I'm going out there tomorrow to see what's what.

But I'll be running late, or I'll be there around lunch or a bit later... So we'll see if he's even there still or if he headed back home

Wais, Trips, is there a way to update the first post so that people know immediately when the next event is? Whenever the meet was changed we've either had some confusion, or worse, people showing up on the wrong date because it says "first Saturday of the month." I figure this is an easy fix that a mod can do that would be helpful for some. Thanks guys for all you do!

He's meeting me because I'm buying his spark plugs. I'm excited to see the beast of a Z.

And hell yes do I want some more smarties!
We just had family friends from Canada come in and they brought a LOT of stuff from Canada... BUT Smarties...

Can I PayPal you for a case? Lol

US smarties are the chalk style candy things while Smarties in Canadia are like M&Ms but 100 times better

..... depends on how many you want! :)

We'll see if we can find someone with a costco membership to get you a big bag. And then someone to store them until October, so I don't sample a few! :D

LOL!
I'm prepared to pay for as many fit in whatever you're using to bring them back!

And I'll meet you anywhere in CA for pickup as well! Lol
Drinks on me! :tiphat:

People like you Pete that make me appreciate this forum and it's members like family!

(In case no one remembers or no one saw it,) Cheech posted that he was driving from Canadia to SoCal, and I kind of jokingly asked if he could bring this candy back, and he said no problem, so I pursued, said I'd be at a meet, I think we texted a few times. I had totally forgotten by out next meet, and even if I remembered, I had no idea who he was... Somehow he overheard me saying that my forum name was DE.50, and he said I have something for you, walked to his car, and came back with a bag of Smarties. Good man!

Thanks for the kind words, you made my day!

I agree with you 100% on appreciating the people on this forum, especially this SoCal group. Met some good friends here, most recently at CubanZ's birthday party a couple Monday's ago. His better half invited his co-workers and some of CubanZ's friends on the forum that she knew to a local bar. It was the SoCal 370Z group that shut the bar down! Had a great time enjoyed CubanZ's singing. Would love to post the video, but will save it for the next meet :) (Only if CubanZ OK's it)

But I will post this blurry pic my wife took of us after having a few :)
