The first annual Z-Day California show was a huge success with close to 200 Z cars registered and hundreds of people in attendance. Z owners and organizations from all over California came together on this day to share their passion and love for the Z and it made for an amazing event. The car show featured a large variety of Z's from all generations, both modified and stock. There were awards for the best Z in multiple categories. SOCALZ invested a lot of time and hard work into making this event a reality and it was rewarded with the overwhelming support from the Z enthusiast community. Raffles, gift bags, gift certificate drawings, track day passes, and more were up for grabs and many in attendance were lucky enough to take a prize home.

We would not be where we are today without our fans and we want to keep the community going with these events, we can't thank you enough for your continued support. With all the positive feedback and great times we've shared together, we are going back to Pismo! This will surely be an event you do not want to miss. Meet Z enthusiasts throughout California, compete in car shows, tons of giveaways, within 3 min walking distance to the beach, food, trophies etc!

Will be making it to this event regardless of if my Z is working or not lol. I'll pull a Peewee Herman and ride my bike if I have to lol

Any idea when the dates are gonna be set? Im trying to request the PTO for next year already(summer days get filled quick) and I wanna make sure I can attend this year. I love pismo, I used to go every summer for a week and camp on the beach/dunes. Lots of good memories. Lets make some more!!! :tup:

How about parking and where to park if we dont enter our cars?

If you are there early enough Bima you can park along the street just across the lot. There's a bakery as your landmark.

Any Hotel recommendation Raf? $100-150 per night

Expensive that week bro but you can try outside of downtown. Maybe at Santa Maria or San Luis Obispo too.

You can park anywhere on the street. I believe it was free but it is spring break weekend so I would recommend arriving early.

A few of our members stayed in San Luis Obispo for a little under 200. Like he said, it is expensive but you can always find a cheap place somewhere. It's just up to you.

Anyone driving there and back the same day? Or is it just me? Lol

I will be taking the 8th off and heading up there Friday mid day to avoid any and all traffic Friday night or Saturday morning

There is a fairly cheap Holiday Inn in Santa Maria (about 15 mins from Pismo meetup) that a friend of mine and possibly another are already going to be staying.

Me. Leave at 5:30 am from Valencia. Get there early enough and get in line. It'll be crazy getting in.

I bet. I'm leaving at 5:00am from Riverside. I feel sorry for the SD guys leaving in the morning

I'm interested in knowing as well, I'm registered but wont be able to make it.
