Would we love to but I really don't think you understand how wild this event is. There will not be anytime for something like this but there are so many Z people there and everyone is family so I'm sure a few people will team up to help you before or after the event. Someone did it last year outside the Hotel.

I'm not sure if you have done a track day before but its not some laps around the track, anyone here can tell you, besides, this is different from any other track day you could have ever done. We would like to have you but suit yourself.

Hey guys, I'll be driving from jersey to this event and was wondering if it would be OK to tape my front bumper for this 14+ hr trip...I just want to make sure I don't leave it for enough time that I will not have any glue residue ?? Thanks

Blue painters tape is good on any surface up to two weeks. So just tape cruise out, un-tape for the weekend, re-tape and ride. Attachment 95025

Take'em both if the Z1 guys don't have an issue. Event, Track day, and dyno run. It's on me. I am not a happy camper but you do what you need to for the family. Sucks when you get older and wiser. Sometimes you just have to take the back seat.

I have to find a place to do my pre-inspection.

I may have to pass my track day pass to someone else. I'm not sure if its such a good idea after all the work that just went into making it full carbon with wide body. Depends on the track conditions. Will somebody please tell me their opinion on this. Is the track clean from debris? Obviously if there is an accident there will be but I mean in a normal situation without an accident??? My car got a feature spot at sema and I don't want anything to happen to it before then.

Bring some extra tape i'll help....This is what I have in mind for the 7hr+ trip there and then back again. I have a project/beater front bumper, I'm going to put my good bumper with CF lip in the Z. Run the beater till I get to the hotel, then swap for the wkend, then swap again for the ride home. If you want you can use my beater bumper for your track session.

Sorry for being captain last minute, if the passes (track day/dyno etc) transfer without a problem. Would I be able to order from you say brake pads and lines and have enough time from them to be shipped to me in south Louisiana?

I'm pretty sure I'm doing the show, even though there is absolutely zero chance of me winning anything. Plus the Z will get a quick style clean up after the drive in and again after the track day, but nothing super detailed.

Google Street view shows 4 self services bays as of Sept 2012. Tried calling them, but no answer(never called a Car Wash before lol).

Personally,I've attended just about every year.However,the last few years its
gotten a bit too crowded for me.You can only get so many cars in the space
available.When you add all the Z,GTR,G's and the early Z cars,its a bit much for the space.Move to a larger facility?
