there wasnt a lack of scenery thats for sure lol

btw, heres the routes i was talking about...

178/215/BRP/276
178/215/BRP/276 - Google Maps

178/215/BRP/28, this is a big boy route... you're an hour away from the dragon when you jump on 28 near Bryson City...
Directions to walhalla, sc - Google Maps

both of those routes are pretty awesome, i'm personally tired of 276, i've been up and down it a million times... once you're out of the top third or half its boring to me...

You care if we post some of your pictures directly to the forum?

HKYStormFront 08-22-2011 10:43 AM

I tried posting them using the Flickr share link but I kept getting a red x. Not sure what's up.

HKYStormFront 08-22-2011 12:47 PM

yea i think kyle is the only one who can share them properly, all we can do is direct link to the image on his flickr page

Patrick. Those pictures I took with your lens came out really bright. Not sure what I did wrong. i really need to spend some more time playing with the full manual setting. I have about 5 good pictures that I hope to post up tonight.

shouldn't have made any difference as far as the lighting/exposure goes. i did have my polarizer on tho so the camera might have tried to over compensate because of it depending on what you were focusing/metering on. if it was a black car (pretty easy since it was the majority of the cars there), then it would blow out the picture trying to expose it to gray. keep in mind the camera doesn't know that a car is black, it just sees it as dark and underexposed. i shoot full manual for this reason. just start doing it more often and it will become second nature
