Haha, Damn straight!

Btw, Meet is the 20th at PF Changs at 5:30.

Red__Zed 01-11-2012 10:03 PM

I'll be traveling again for this next meet, but I swear I still have that clutch spring for ya.

Parkerman 01-11-2012 10:05 PM

Its cool man.

On a side note... I want to fill my driver side door with spray foam to stop this rattling... Its horrible.

Red__Zed 01-11-2012 10:12 PM

Where's the rattle coming from? Still the top?

No luck with the magnet?

Did this just start, or did it always do this?

Parkerman 01-12-2012 10:13 AM

Its slowly gotten worse over time.

Yep, still at the top... Top rear of the driver side door. Couldn't get the magnet to work.. Might try again though.

Did a search and others have this problem too.

Samir 01-12-2012 11:29 AM

Have you tried swinging the door open and seeing if there's any play up and down compared to the passenger size?

The reason I say this is that I've got a rattle like this on one of my 95 Altimas and it's actually a small plastic bushing on the hinge.

Its inside the door, I can hear the location its coming from.

Samir 01-12-2012 06:01 PM

Thats sucks. :( Like something broken off?

Parkerman 01-12-2012 07:15 PM

Something is just loose enough to rattle.

Samir 01-15-2012 10:37 AM

Grrr...that would drive me nuts. I'd buy a Nissan factory service manual and take the door apart, lol.

Hey, you want another trunk mat for your Z?
http://www.the370z.com/parts-sale-pr...at-60-obo.html

I got it for free, so any revenue I get from it I'll be dumping into HCS. :)

Red__Zed 01-23-2012 02:08 PM

Saw a black nismo and a very dirty bc or black sp z in the hsv parking garage last night.

I see two of them...:icon17:

It's always a struggle to guess which one to wave to.

Any luck with the rattle?

Been turning the radio up more =\

Although I haven't heard it as much lately... but I may just not be paying attention.

Been thinking lately and I think my next mod/s will be springs/spacers.

I'd wave to both! Then see how long before the other one starts waving back, lol.

You know, the temperature can play big factor in this. I know the engine noise in my Accord is waaay worse when it's below 40 degrees. A day like today it will almost sound normal...almost. :(

If his mustang wasn't black... I would notice him easier..

Would wave every day when he had the Z... now, its hit or miss.

Time for some bright red stripes, eh?

Down the center? Or on the fender like the Corvette?

Parkerman 01-24-2012 06:48 AM

I'm thinking Zig Zag down the car....

Or you could just be the red boss I see just about every morning. [though I don't like its color scheme]

Looks like this

Samir 01-24-2012 01:41 PM

With the hood as wide as it is, I'd do a double stripe down the center, that splits on the roof and ends up one on each side. I used to always draw stripes like that when I was little.

Red__Zed 02-01-2012 08:40 PM

cruised behind a black 370z on the way in to work this morning

Red__Zed 02-01-2012 08:40 PM

Also, I think stripes are too loud for me.

You could just do the two fender stripes. Ba Mustang did that just recently on his old school Mustang and they turned out great:

I see that stang at Kroger all the time

Samir 02-02-2012 01:48 PM

Really cool owner. You should talk to him if you get a chance. :)

Red__Zed 02-02-2012 01:51 PM

Never seen him around it. Always parked next to it since it is a pretty neat ride

Samir 02-02-2012 02:24 PM

Send him a message on HCS. :) He's on there pretty regularly.

Parkerman 03-06-2012 06:35 AM

Actually saw the other blue 370z yesterday on my way to work.

I just need to go ahead and buy lowering springs and spacers... For some reason I keep holding out. I guess I keep hoping a good deal will pop up, or maybe some being sold on here.

Red__Zed 03-06-2012 07:55 AM

Nice. I've seen two white ones, and another pg around recently....

Just buy the parts new. The small discount you get from a used set isn't worth it IMO. I'd much rather have new springs than save $30, and no way I'm getting used spacers unless I buy new studs.

Parkerman 03-06-2012 12:51 PM

Yea, I suppose you're right. What brand spacers did you run on yours and what size were they?

I plan to do the 20 in the back and 15 in the front.

I didn't run spacers.

20/15 is a good setup. Make sure to get the stud-replacement type for the front.

For some reason I thought you did before you got your wheels... *shrugs*

Nope. I had mega-sunk wheels

Case in point

Parkerman 03-06-2012 01:32 PM

Haha, Yea.

I've still got the wonderful rattle in the door... I've wondered how much it would be for the dealer to look/fix it [I hate dealers too]

Red__Zed 03-06-2012 01:36 PM

Never hurts to ask. They could never accomplish anything with mine though.

I would be more willing if I was still under warranty. I don't want a rattle to end up costing me $1,000... lol.

I've been just cracking my window.. the wind is enough to overpower it.. sometimes. And it also seems like the movement of the window down subdues it some.
