I also have vq35de engine parts , 370z engine parts , 350z front bumper &side skirts, and super car wheels

R3V 09-01-2014 08:32 AM

Hmm. How much for the 2nd one? The aftermarket head unit in my car is sub-par.

$700

R3V 09-01-2014 10:43 AM

Not a bad price!

lfrz93 09-01-2014 04:18 PM

Anyone here have experience with the Z1 Test Pipes?

Huck 09-01-2014 11:52 PM

Not too much. Just took a set off of a 350, they seem decent t. it's hard to mess up a metal pipe with two flanges though lol.

Zdayz 2014!!

Lmao. I figured. They also seem fairly priced considering they're just 2 metal tubes lol

Huck 09-02-2014 06:13 AM

I still recommend Fast Intentions for anything exhaust related though. They're more expensive, but they use the best materials, they have the best welds, the best sound, the best customer service. Can't beat them, but if you don't want to part with the cash then Z1 is an OK alternative.

R3V 09-02-2014 07:22 AM

My quote for a non-res CBE w/test pipes was around $1,500. Think it will drone?

LostSol 09-02-2014 07:25 AM

FI non res with FI non res test pipes? it will be loud, there will be some drone

R3V 09-02-2014 07:32 AM

The Official FLORIDA Thread

I like loud, don't mind a little drone. Mostly want to be sure my highway won't try to kill me. I drove in an S2K with a similar setup and my ears were bleeding.

But my STI with the race exhaust didn't bother me at all.

On a side note, I ******* love this car.

Fair enough, I think that for the sake of simplicity and it being my first upgrade, I'll try out Z1 for the test pipes. When I have a little more money in the next few, I'll look into the CBE from FI with 18" resonators

Huck 09-02-2014 09:05 AM

Non res'd exhaust and tp will drone a little, but not much. I still suggest getting in the car with a few of us to see how the different combos sound :)

What cool lips/diffusers are out there? I feel like stock looks nice but it needs a lip to look mean

Huck 09-02-2014 10:07 AM

Everyone seems to like the Sun line Racing style lip the most, as long as you don't get the Mines lip that I have we font have a problem hehehe

Haha, I like the Stillen front fascia. It's really ******* nice

Huck 09-02-2014 10:26 AM

Yeah that thing looks mean, and it's a good price. But the bill from the body shop to put it together is a put the same as the price of the bumper.

Personally I want this one, but I will never be able to afford it. $27000 and six months to get.

That's really nice... But even if i had 27 Gs I wouldn't buy it lol.

Why would the installation of the Stillen Fascia cost so much ?

Huck 09-02-2014 11:01 AM

it's a 3 piece bumper. The body shop has to put the 3 pieces together and bondo it then sand and paint. Putting together takes some time. Paint would be around $150 by itself, and the body work costs a bit more.

R3V 09-02-2014 11:13 AM

The front looks like a CRZ. Meh. Back is epic.

Well, I'm picking up a Hebi Bebi in Kendall tonight, I'm pretty excited. :happydance: I can't do with the stock shifter, it's too ******* light lol.

Hahaha. I got my Tommy Kaira knob last night, and thought to myself "it's only gonna go downhill from here". Fl350z seems like a cool guy too.

R3V 09-05-2014 07:27 AM

Well Huck I took a page out of your book and just picked up the FI non resonated CBE with nonres test pipes.

Now it needs to get here already. At least I got it from a forum member and have to wait a week as opposed to a couple months.

Huck 09-05-2014 07:35 AM

Nice! it's gonna sound pretty sweet man, the test pipes give it an extra aggressiveness that puts a smile on your face :) if you need an installer I'll give you a good price!

Appreciated, but I like to do it myself. I have a lift, so makes it super easy.

Sales manager for a Chevy store. I've got 20 I can use at any time. Being around a long time helps, I can just say I need to use a corner lift and they clear it out for me.
