SSCA solo at PBIR classing

I am going to be competing in SCCA solo events once the track reopens and am having trouble figuring out what class to race in. I have z1 CAI, Greddy RS race exhaust, FI test pipes, swift springs, spacers, and a dyno tune. I also have the trunk gutted and am planning on adding a 6 point roll cage and aero mods in the coming months. Was originally looking at racing in the Street prepped class but I read that only cars with 4 seats from the factory can race in that class. Would really appreciate any help I can get.

Wheel Refinishing in South Florida

Hey Guys,
I sold my GTM SC 370Z in 2016 and have been away from the forum since. I am getting ready to purchase another Z. I am looking for some reputable places to have my Work Gnosis GS5 refinished in South Florida. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys!

Hi guys. Just moved to central Florida. Looking for recommendations for a repair shop to get my regular maintenance done. I prefer Eneos oil if anyone here carries it! Please DM if you are a repair ship specializing in Zs around Orlando to Tampa.

Andrew Ortiz at Mad Zyentist Motorsports in Sanford, Switchback Racing in Deland or BTuned Performance in Apopka are good places. There are a couple more "Bespoke" options I reach out to but they come with catches because they're great but you're on their time. Jump on facebook and join Central Florida Z/G or come out and meet up next Saturday at the ACE cafe for the group meet.

Sadly I don’t have the Facebook. But thanks for those suggestions above!

Relatively inexpensive headlights ($475) among other used Z parts in Orlando.

Not my stuff, just happened to notice.

Brought my Z to a few shops now "pro's & Nissan master techs).
Now that the open/close button has power again my top will open (I have the use the tool to unlatch it from the windshield manually) the top will open all the way and BEEP once done.

However, when I press the button to close the top, it closes all the way, locks in the back, but it does not beep. The second that I let go of the button the top unlocks just in the front and pops back up immediately. I then will have to shut off the car and use the tool to close/lock it to the front.

*If you have an idea on how to reattach the defrost wire to the rear window that would also be great!

Thank you in advance ...

Can anyone recommend a good mechanic around Downtown Tampa for my 370Z?

I am having some issues with vibration and squeaking.

Also I need some adjustments to the convertible soft top as it gets stuck going down now. Also needs some stitching fixed in the sides but that probably isn’t a mechanic.

I know it’s nowhere near Tampa, but the absolute best Nissan GT-R, Z mechanic in FL is Derek over at Deland Nissan.

I can’t recommend a tuner other than I’m planning to get my Z tuned at Ztuner in Bradenton. I’ll let you know how it goes, but I’m about a month out from being ready for a tune. I would get a code reader and clear the code if it’s related to your intakes/exhaust. When I threw a CEL after I installed FI’s cat back and HFCs and stillen CAI I threw a cel, but after a month or so driving it never came back and that was 8 years ago

Seeking recommendations for detail shops within 50 miles of Orlando. Looking to get interior/exterior/engine bay detailed next week.

Thanks in advance!

Any advice on mechanics in the Orlando area? I think my pilot bearing needs replacing. Thanks!
