Not sure if any of you seen the thread in the socal section,but Matt (bigaudiofanat) took a trip out there to install audio for a group of forum members..I have been back and forth with Matt trying to pick out equipment for my Z. I have the nismo non Bose and as a bass head would love to upgrade my sound. Matt has ton's of experience and I thought it would be fun to support one of our own members and possibly get a group buy together and bring him to Florida! I'm curious how many if any of you would be interested in getting new equipment installed at a group rate and make a party of it? Please let me know any maybe we can get something rolling!

Very possible. I'm itching to upgrade. I used to compete in SPL comps years back so I'm a bass head too. However, this is my weekend race car so I don't want the weight. I'd love to get a single 10/12/13 in the trunk with 500-1000watts RMS to it and a 4 channel for some nice component speakers.

Still deciding on a DD though. Leaning towards the AppRadio3 as I want the most user friendly DD for the iPhone 5S, which means capacitive touch screen. Pioneer's NEX with capacitive touch is $1400!!!!

Nice! Yea my stereo quality now is less than desirable to say the least. The z is my daily so I want to have some room in the trunk so I'm going single 10 w6v2. I have a set of two I took out of my truck when I moved down here. Changing the components also which will also be on an amp. I'm currently deciding DD as well. I eventually want to integrate an iPad in the storage compartment above the headunit. I figured if enough people were interested we could get some awesome quality work and have clean installs.

I PM'd Matt a few weeks ago, and he told me that a trip to Florida was very possible in the near future. I'm willing to make the drive from Mississippi, so count me in.

I have the Kenwood 8901hd with alpine R components and an alpine R 12" sub in a zenclosure with a 400w kicker amp, sounds stupid good. Looking for n alpine pdx-v9 amp to replace with and its golden, I would t be able to handle more sound than that lol.

I've got a spare Kicker S10L7 laying around with about 1 month use on it that I might end up using to save money, but I'd rather go with another W7. I used to have a 13W7 matched to the 1000/1 amp JL offers but sold that awhile ago.
